The Fairport Public Library will host a tech camp on October 21st at 9:00 am to introduce attendees to augmented reality and how it can be used in libraries. The Emerging Technology Committee will demonstrate popular augmented reality apps, how publishers are enhancing books with the technology, and how to create scannable QR codes for use in the library. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own smart phones or laptops to participate in hands-on activities.
