MICHIGAN’S VOICE: NO TAXES FOR ABORTION INSURANCE PETITION Parkside is taking part in
gathering signatures for a petition to initiate legislation to remove automatic abortion payments from health
insurance. Thus, we will not be forced to pay for someone else’s abortion and those who want it would
have to purchase a separate rider from any insurance plan in Michigan, whether public, private or plans
under Obama Care. By gathering 400,000 valid signatures throughout Michigan, we as citizens will be
putting the legislation before our Michigan legislature for a veto-proof vote. The governor’s signature will
not be needed. If interested, please sign a petition located on the table outside the church office.
Be sure to sign on the correct page for your county. If you would be interested in taking home a petition
to have friends and family sign it, you can pick one up on the table.

Pastor Rob, Parkside Mission Board and Congregation:
We cannot begin to thank you enough for all that you have
done in coming alongside us as we prepare to return to
Kenya and the ministry we love at Rift Valley Academy!
Wow! What a journey it has been. We are so extremely
grateful for people like you who God has chosen to serve
with us. Thank you for the generous gift and for choosing
to increase our monthly support. You will never fully know the great encour-
agement that you were to us on the day that you called, Pastor Rob. As we fully
anticipated God performing a miracle to get us back to Kenya on June 22nd, we
can see now that God intended for it to rain and not pour - yet! He has us here
for a reason and we daily seek to be obedient to whatever that reason may be.
A fellow missionary told us that sometimes we minister more to people’s lives
stateside than we realize and that maybe God just has more people on this side
of the world who we need to minister to right now. We just want to be faithful
followers wherever we are!
We just really want to thank you for your part in reaching the world for Jesus.
We are so blessed!
Until the whole world hears,
Travis, Patti, Kylea, Joshua, Tia and Levi Nielsen
