5. PROBLEM
• What kinds of bulb are suitable for the
headlight?
• How much voltage is needed to generate light?
• How much voltage will pedaling produce?
• What factors will affect the production of light?
• How much speed will be needed in order to
generate light?

8. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
B. PROCEDURE
• Collect the materials
• Divide the magnet into 2 not-too-short pieces
• Cut out the base or the whole container
• Connect the magnets in the middle with a metal bar
• Pierce the wooden base with metal bars ( nails were used instead and
make sure the shape is circular )
• Wrap the copper wire around the
• circle
• Connect a wire to the copper wires inside

9. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
B. PROCEDURE
• Pierce a hole on one of the sides and attach the light at the other side
of the wire
• Place the magnets in the middle ( pre-attached to a gear )
• Pierce the cover in order for the gear go through
• Attach the gear to the moving parts of the bicycle
• Attach the main magnet to the rope.
• Measure the electricity produced using the ammeter.
• Check the effectiveness of the light at a distance
• Do finishing touches.

14. SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Recommendations
• Make another generator that can produce more voltage.
• Improve this generator so that it will be able to generate
enough energy to provide the headlight and taillight of a
bicycle.
• Include a switch for the lights.
• Find a way to store the unused energy when lights are
switched off.
