What does college offer and expect of you? College offers me the opportunity to better myself
by improving my skills and my education but its only up to me how far i take it with my hard
work and dedication. College expects me to be a responsible student that finish work and tasks
on time as well as studying and staying on top of my test and labs that help me pass the classes i
aim for.
What thinking skills can help you achieve your goals? Analytical, Creative and Practical
thinking can help me and anyone that practices them achieve any goal that you aim and commit
for.
How can a “growth mindset” help you succeed? By understanding and realizing that there will
be more than one obstacle or challenge in order to get to succeed. Knowing that it takes hard
work to get there but once you're there everything will be worth it. More like setting up the right
mind set to achieve everything you aim for.
How can you work effectively with others? Working in teams is always good because you get
more than one perspective or opinion that can often lead you to better understanding of a specific
situation or subject. Helping your classmates and discussing the subject with them always helps.
How does college prepare you for work and life success? College teaches you how to
prioritize and schedule your goals and tasks in order to accomplish what you want the way you
want it but in an organized and effective way. It shows you that you can do anything if you really
work hard for it and dedicate yourself and actually work through the process with patience and
motivation.
