Technical Operations Superintendent for Middle East, India and Australia
· Responsible for preparing Dry-Docking specifications, Dry-Docking budgets and monitoring vessel
repairs.
· Compiling the vessel repair master schedule, daily reporting, cost controlling and produce final report
on repair completions.
· Ensure vessel specifications are prepared prior to docking or major conversions. Follow up with vessel
technical inspections and running maintenance on a daily basis.
· Producing AFE’s (application for expenditure) related to any future repairs or retrofitting
works/dockings.
· Supervising planned maintenance (PMS) system to be followed closely by crew, amend OMS whereas
necessarily as per ship specific equipment/operational area.
· Liaise with multiple contractors to ensure the best solutions (timely work completion/cost effective)
for upcoming works.
· Producing annual vessel budgets and running cost analysis.
· Ensure that the vessels carry all required certificates and in that respect arranging class surveyors
attendances, schedule all surveys or docking period, deal with contractors or shipyards globally.
· Direct liaising with clients (Maersk, BP, Chevron, Total)
· Participating in training of crew (ER department mostly) in using various equipment, preparing /
amending engine room standing instructions against main components start-up operation.
· Supporting and advising boat’s crew with technical or operational info.
Group Project Engineer 2009 - 2010
· Responsible for Preparation of Technical Vessel specification along with Contract preparation of New
Buildings in line with clients requirements (ARAMCO, BP, CHEVRON), follow up and monitoring vessel
construction in various yards.
· Monitoring and adjust the budget (CAPEX) of new buildings, issuing new Change Orders complying
with new requirements appeared during construction process
· Responsible for Registration of new vessels with various Flag authorities (Cyprus/British Virgin
Islands/Russian flag) dealing with International Accounting Authorities for Radio appliances
registration.
· Follow up with various Class societies acting on behalf of Flag Authorities about vessels certification of
new boats or conduct periodical survey for vessels under operation.
