Kraszewice - a village in Poland located in the GrabowskaValley,
in the southern part of Wielkopolska region.
The first information about Kraszewice comes from 15th century,
 1423 AD.
There were
 only few
 cars and
motorbikes
   in the
 village…
and people
went by
bikes, horse
s and on
foot.
Nowadays, motorbikes and
cars are common means of
transport. What’s
more, they are
cheaper, more comfortable
and safer than in the past.
70 years ago now

Primary school in Kuźnica Grabowska, a small village in Kraszewice municipality.
100 years ago Now

Primary school in Kraszewice, 100 years ago it was only a small, wooden building.
Now we have got two modern schools (primary school and junior high school).
In the picture above
you can see the playground
where our new junior high
school bulding has been
built .
On the left, in the
                           background you can see
                           a seat of municipal
                           authorities from the 70s’
                           and an old police car.

Here , the same place 30
years later with a new
police car.
In the past… and now!
There is a mill in our village from 1909 .

In the past the mill had water drive
and met only the needs of the local
population.
         The mill is still
developing. In 1998 it was
modernised to comply with the
European Union Standards.

Its production includes a wide
range of wheat and rye flour.
was very laborious and backward compared to western Europe.
It is very modern and farmers have
less work to do thanks to new
machines and farming equipment.
In the past people wore smarter clothes than now.
In the past … Now …
Before …
Now …
In the past people spent
their time actively, they
went out a lot, had
parties, because they
didn’t have the Internet
and TV.
Masovia Kraszewice Football Team was set up in 1929.
In the past there was only a stadium . Now, there are two
multifunctional pitches called Orlik playgrounds. There is a mini-
football pitch and a multifunctionional court for
tennis, futsal, basketball, volleybal, badminton which can be
turned into an ice rink in the winter , too.
The church of
the st. Apostoles
 Peter and Paul
 was opened in
       1888.
Before …

Now …
