The 3 major different ways that a company can market on Facebook are:Pages Ads. Groups
Pages are like profiles but for business, public persons, and any kind of organizations. This is an example of how “pages” look like in Facebook (business page for Mercedes Benz).They are free and are easay to set up
Ads, stands for “advertising”. Ads in Facebook can be oriented to specifics targets. They appear at the right hand side of the page.
Groups are similar to discussion forums, but they look like pages and profiles. Groups can be related to our products, company or market. They are also free.
The next slides show examples for the three landing pages mentioned in this slide.
Vizio is a producer of electronics and is based in Irvine, California, USA.In our opinion, this is not the best landing page among the three, this is the one we like the least because it is difficult to know at first hand what Vizio is all about, the picture doesn’t reflect anything about them and people in Internet do not expend that many time when something doesn’t look interesting.
This is the one we like the best. You can see a nice product picture that you can say immediately what is it about. It has also a well done video advertising from their brand.
The following slides shows examples of posts on walls that can add value and make a page useful.
