Company BAUMRUK & BAUMRUK s.r.o.
BAUMRUK & BAUMRUK s.r.o. is a Czech company dealing in engineering manufacture.
The product portfolio of the company includes serial production of metal parts and
components of construction machinery pursuant to drawing documentation including
complete delivery to the client. The company further specializes in manufacture and
trading spare parts for railway carriages of the ŠKODA brand. The products are exported
to many European countries.
3. History
The company, originally called Stroj & Spol., was established by the Baumruk
family in 1990. The company with the original staff of three full-time employ-ees
first concentrated on metal production to order, mainly on design and
construction of atypical constructions. In 1994 the company moved to new
premises which were reconstructed and expanded at the same time.
With the quick acquisition of new customers and further increase of the vol-ume
of manufacture entailing the need for additional financing, the original-ly
family company was transferred to BAUMRUK & BAUMRUK s.r.o., limited
liability company, newly incorporated in 1996. At the same time, thanks to
precise work and due fulfillment of all agreements, the company changed its
orientation and began to concentrate on foreign customers and serial pro-duction
of various metal components for construction machinery. In 1997
the acquisition of business shares in the limited liability company Yamas s.r.o.
expanded the existing premises to the manufacturing plant in the munici-pality
of Chrást u Plzně. At that time the company also commenced trading
with spare parts for railway carriages.
In 2000 the company received a quality system certification pursuant to the
ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 standard and the Certificate of Technical Eligibility
for Suppliers of the Joint-Stock Company Czech Railways. In 2002 the man-ufacturing
capacities were expanded with a machining plant allowing for
increased self-sufficiency in manufacture of spare parts and components for
railway carriages. In 2006 the company completed construction of a new
manufacturing hall at Chrást u Plzně, where its manufacturing capacities
were subsequently transferred.
Since 2007 the company has extensively invested in automation, machinery
and software. The machine park was completely renewed in one year. Acqui-sition
of the welding certificate ČSN EN ISO3834-2 and ČSN EN 15085 allows
for further assertion in the difficult competitive environment.
In 2010 a new ERP system was implemented and it improved all processes
in the company rapidly. The EDI communication was set up with the main
customers.
In 2013 the company invested massively to further development. The whole
production plan was completely rebuilt. The new and modern production
hall with an area of 3200 m2 and two stock halls with a total area of 1000 m2
were built. Part of the rebuilding was also a new administrative and sanitary
building with an area of 700 m2. At the same time the company invested in
a new machinery park including a new powder painting shop.
In 2014 the company now employs 70 full-time staff members in our own
modern production plant with a total area of 7000 m2 and can offer first class
service to customers.

10. Components for railway carriages
BAUMRUK & BAUMRUK s.r.o. has been a long-term manufacturer of many mechanical
parts for railway carriages. On the basis of meeting strict qualification criteria we have
received from Škoda Transportation Company the exclusive right for manufacture
of selected spare parts for Škoda railway engines. Our employees possess long-term
experience in the manufacture of original parts, many of which can be provided on
the basis of the particular drawing number demand. On the basis of client drawing
documentation we are also able to produce customised variants. High qualification
standards of our company are evidenced by our successful passing of many customer
audits and by our holding of all necessary certificates for manufacture and distribution
of railway carriage components. In parts supply we have cooperated with many com-panies
in the Czech Republic and abroad.
