Your first picture – case study
The CEO of BadGuy Industries Inc. just came back from a long holiday, during
which he read a book on sustainability – which he says changed his life. He
wants the whole company to contribute to sustainability overall, and so he
calls in several board members, a financial analyst from an investment bank,
and a representative of an environmental NGO.
     1.  Discussion (15 minutes)
          1.  Spilt into groups with three members
          2.  You will be assigned an industry in which BadGuy Industries Inc. is
                operating
          3.  Distribute the roles (Board member, financial analyst, NGO
                representative)
          4.  Brainstorm different options for integrating sustainability into business
                operations
          5.  Discuss these options from the perspectives of the different meeting
                participants
          6.  Chose a new name for your company that better reflects your new
                strategic direction
     2.  Briefly present in the plenary (5 mins): Your industry, your action, your new
         name

The question of whether sustainability leads to profitability remains.

But in fact, the answer is not
                            predetermined.

            It depends on
                 YOU.
