Social media marketing Keeps Moving On Way up.
Social networking today is about seeing that common as chapped lips inside the winter. Just about
everywhere you turn, you can Like some thing (Facebook), Tweet it (Twitter), +1 it (Google), etc. Of
course, there's also Tumblr, Flickr, FourSquare, Digg, and the list continues and on… I came across
the most recent Nielsen Social Media Survey, and it read like a type of bathroom books full involving
fun facts.
According to Nielsen,
Social Media's popularity is constantly on the grown, connecting people with just about everything
they watch and obtain. Whether it's a brand icon inviting consumers for connecting with a company
on LinkedIn, a news ticker advertising an anchor's Twitter deal with or an advertisement requesting
a consumer to "Like" an item on Facebook, people are constantly being driven to social websites.
The latest Nielsen insights provide some answers on precisely how powerful this influence is on
consumer behavior, both online and away from.
In the U. S., social networks and information sites reach nearly 80 pct of active U. S. internet users
and represent many American's time online. The value of enough time consumers spend online and
on support systems and blogs is growing, most visible through the influence on purchase options.
For instance, 60 percent of folks who use three of more digital means of research for product
purchases learned about a specific brand of retailer from a social networking site. Forty-eight
percent of these consumers responded to a retailer's offer posted on Facebook.
