2. Stage 1 The first thing I did was prepare the background. I chose the colour black as it made the image stand out and the other text on the page. I also prepared a banner across the page to put other pictures on. As you will see in a later stage the banner frames the images. Another item I put on the page was a blue box in the corner. His will have page information on through out the magazine.
3. Stage 2 The next thing I added was the school logo. Unlike the front cover I decided to make the logo smaller as I don’t think it was needed as big. I used the same style text and colour to keep the theme running and also split the contents page up into sections. The sub headers I put in the same yellow used in the logo to keep the colours constant.
4. Stage 3 The actual page titles in the contents I used the colour blue that is in the school logo. This helps people to see the difference between the sub headings (“Results and Exams” and “School Updates”) as they are different colours. Also the blue stands out against the dark background but I have made sure I have kept the theme constant once again. As you can see in the blue box I have now added the magazine information in it in yellow which contrast against the blue.
5. Stage 4 The final items I added was the images in the banner. Some of these pictures relate to other articles in the magazine. Like I said the banner I added I think frames the image.
