I t's now official!
Frotcom is preparing the launch of a new Workforce Management module.
The launch is scheduled to take place in the first quarter of 2013, following a
period of field tests which has already begun.

tablets, over-the-air, service orders (jobs) and
collecting the corresponding job statuses.
The system also allows the workers to fill in the This and much more…
necessary forms at each step of the way,
according to the instructions set by the company.
As examples of such forms, think of an unloading
form or of a refuelling form.
The new module can be completely integrated, by
linking Frotcom to the company’s backoffice
(linking to ERP software, for example). Therefore,
the job statuses and forms can be processed by
the company’s backoffice, after being collected
from the workers by Frotcom.
Additionally, the onboard system includes features such as sending and receiving
messages, integrated navigation – including truck mode as option – and the
triggering of alerts (driving behaviour related or other alerts generated by Frotcom),
among other features.
The on-board system is completely autonomous and can be used even out of the
vehicle, optionally, which can be quite convenient to collect signatures from
customers, for instance, as a proof of delivery or service acceptance.
A great advantage of the new system is that it can be configured for each
company’s needs. Not only the forms can be defined for each company, but the
workflow for each type of job is also configurable, taking the driver, technician or
salesperson through a very controlled workflow. The status of each job can be
followed in Frotcom’s web interface in real time.
If you’d like to be among the first companies to try the new module, as soon as it is
available, please contact your Frotcom Certified Partner. We believe you’ll be as
pleased as we are.
Valério Marques, CEO - Frotcom International
