This document discusses how organization development (OD) techniques can be applied to improve the quality of education at an educational institute. It involves planned interventions using behavioral science principles to increase individual and organizational effectiveness. The proposed OD model involves getting faculty, administration and students ready for change through OD training. It includes confrontation meetings to identify and prioritize problems, individual and team interviews, career planning, empowerment, wellness programs, improving hygiene factors and motivators, developing a family culture, recognition, participation in administration, training and development. Addressing problems at individual, team and organizational levels can ultimately improve processes, quality, behavior and satisfaction, leading to an overall enhancement in the quality of education.
