How many of you have been to the FI? A little background information about the Friday Institute. For the last decade the Friday Institute has worked with schools and districts across the state as them implement technology initiatives. Through our professional development and evaluation teams the Friday Institute has gleaned many valuable insights into what components are most important to the success of a technology initiative. ICOBALT's debut in the epic-ed community is part of the Friday Institute's larger mission of helping schools become future-oriented organizations through effective technology integration.
We know that in order for a technology initiative to be successful student learning needs to be at the center. There are several other components that also factor into the success of the initiative that must work in conjunction with one another. Wrapping together the components is a continuous cycle that includes visioning, planning, implementation and assessment of the initiative. The focus of COBALT Community will begin with the assess phase using the STNA and will support you as you move into the vision and planning phases.
Provides data for planners, policy makers, and decision makers (e.g., administrators, technology specialists, and technology planning team members) pertaining to technology use and technology-related initiatives
To maximize the effectiveness of STNA and gather the highest quality data…
