1. 
To delete file:

To delete directory with file:
rm -rf <<directory name>>

2. To mount pendrive

cd /mnt/<<directory name>>
ls

3. To make duplicate or .bak file

cp /etc/samba/smb.conf /etc/samba/smb.conf.bak
➔
cd /etc/samba
➔
ls

4. Now to make a new share user
➔
vi smb.conf
smb.conf lai edit gare saka pachi tesko last ma
gayara new smb user define garne

writeable=yes
➔
admin user=smbuser
➔
path=/tmp/share
➔
valid user=smbuser
➔
public=yes
➔
available=yes
….....now save it
➔

6. Now define a new user

mkdir /tmp/share
➔
adduser smbuser
➔
passwd smbuser
“Give a password now”
➔
smbpasswd -a smbuser
“Give a password again”
Now restart a samba one time again
➔
service smb restart

7. Now make a file to share, which we
are going to see on windows

cd /tmp/share
➔
touch acme
➔
vi acme
write whatever u like and save it.
➔
ifconfig
➔
echo 0 > /selinux/enforce

8. Now go at windows
go to Run and insert the IP address of the linux

192.168.1.100
Now login page will appear
login over there and you will see the share file of
linux

10. Command change

12. To change password
