4. A Day in Kelley Hug’s Life Stanford University, Spring 2010 CS377v - Creating Health Habits habits.stanford.edu After practice she rinses off and heads to class. While in class, she checks her email and notices the 8-day weather forecast sent from SunCast. This helps her plan her outdoor activities for the rest of the week and reminds her to apply sunscreen everyday. Kelley heads back to her room before her afternoon swimming practice to relax and apply sunscreen again since she had washed it off earlier. Kelley wakes up at 6am to get ready for her morning swimming practice. She performs her normal routine of brushing her teeth and getting dressed before leaving. Kelley notices the sunscreen bottle placed next to her toothpaste and remembers to apply some to her face before she leaves. She goes to Avery Aquatic Center and practices along with her team for 2 hours under the morning sun. At practice, Kelley is exposed to the strongest UV rays of the day.
