4. WHAT IS GAMFED?
• Gamification Confederation
• GamFed was announced on 1st January 2013
• Headquarted in London
• GamFed was brought to life to help the gamification market. A very
young and inconsistent market with several visions and goals (US
vision vs European vision). We felt there was a need for a
professional association to lead, unite and foster all actors in this
market
• GamFed is an association of several members joined in a
confederation. This means we are all responsible of its development
and actions
• GamFed is an answer to companies that would like to use game
mechanics but that don’t understand the full power of a
gamification campaign
6. GAMFED’S ROLE
• Gamification market promotion as well as uniting members globally and
facilitating exchanges amongst members
• GamFed will also offer courses about Gamification and a portal where job
offers will be displayed
• Publishing white papers
• Breakfast sessions with journalists, analysts and the public
• GamFed Wednesdays once a month (meet up of the community)
