IST workshop: Introduction to Workshop 3 on `Assessment for Learning` module

   1. Feedback on workshops 1 and 2
   2. Update on ELT community projects and events
   3. Reminder of previous circulars : 175, 142, 200, 182, 169 (Bac Ex Specifications : Dec09)
   4. Introduce new Circulars: 5 and 19
   5. Present a sample class webpage

1. Feedback on previous TLC workshops:
           a. Attendance
          b. Impact on classroom practices
          c. Students` reactions
          d. Reminder: refer to theoretical background for better understanding
          e. Keep up the community spirit
2. Update on ELT community projects and events:
      a. Access programme: Access 3 running third term, action plan approved
      b. Connecting Classrooms Project: UK teachers` visit in February
      c. Connecting Classrooms Online project: Launch during Dec10 workshop
      d. PLC: re-activated in April
      e. ICT for ELT SIG: invitation open to all
      f. Pre-service session for university trainees: starting this month
      g. Website (www.zoubaireltcommunity.ac.ma): updating going slowly but surely
      h. Local Resource Centre: collecting furniture and resources
      i. Pedagogical Research Unit: Action plan approved
      j. Recruiting part-time teachers: interviews this week; k. . . . . .
3. Circulars: reminder of:
       a. Circular 175/2010 on monitoring continuous assessment in secondary schools
       b. Circular 142.07 on continuous assessment for sec. schools AND Bac Specifications(Dec09)
       c. Circular 182/2010 on continuous assessment for Middle schools:
         a. Tools used              b. Guidelines for written quizzes
         c. Further types:          d. Refer to the chart in terms of:
                                  -Components -Duration -Timing        -Calculating the average
       d. Circular 200/2010 on School Clubs
 4. New circulars:
       a. Circular 19 on: National Competition for ICT in education
       b. Circular 05 on: National Competition for Educational Innovation
 5. Sample Class webpage:
          a. Identify the main components
          b. Discuss how it compares with other webpage creation tools
