4. iCloud allows an iDevice
to be set up without
having to connect
to a computer.
5. iCloud details are found in the
“Settings” area.
Click “Storage and Backup” to see
your iCloud details.
6. iCloud automatically backs up when
device is charging and on Wi-Fi.
“Manage Storage” shows which
apps are being backed up.
7. Manage which apps you would
like to back up.
Note the size of the apps being
backed up (some can be large!)

Click iWork to access documents
as office or mac format OR pdf!
9. “Find my iPhone” button at icloud.com
allows you to track, message, lock or
wipe your device

IMPORTANT: initial backup or any “restore
from backup” processes are LARGE!
Make sure you have a large enough plan.
iCloud gives 5Gb free storage and you can
buy more storage on a yearly basis.
You can have a different iCloud for each
device on your Apple ID.
