This graph allows me to accurately price my magazine. By being aware that a majority
of people spend less than £5 on all their weekly music products, I understand that my
magazine must be correctly priced in order to attract my audience. This being said, it
would still need to make a profit and compete with other magazines. These are all
things I must bear in mind when putting the price on my products.




This graph allows me to find out what age group are most likely to read music
magazines, as I decided to ask a wide range of people. Most people are within my key
age range of 15-20 years old. This will allow me to cater for this target audience
throughout my magazine and ensure I am making my magazine marketable to the age
group who are most likely to buy it.

This information helped me to decide which genre of music I wanted to focus on for my
magazine. Pop music is my own personal favourite genre of music but this helped me to
acknowledge that other people are also interested in pop music and want to read a
magazine based on this genre.
I asked this question to my target audience in order to understand whether or not I need
to feature something in my magazine about the legality regarding music. From these
results I plan to have part of my interview of my double page spread commenting on
illegally downloading music as this is something that a majority of my audience does.




This question allows me to promote free downloadable songs in my magazine, as most
people download their music. In the past magazines have given away free CD’s but as
people prefer not to have hard copies of music I have decided to feature downloadable
music instead.
