CA Success Network (SN) Logic Model Activities Short Term Outcomes Long Term Outcomes Systemic Learning Target Population Coordination with core organizations Policies that Support (Alliance building among ASCCC, LACCD Project, Other Partners) Sustained, Innovative/ -State and Local- -Guide statewide infrastructure development Alternative & Engaging Level Decision- -Assist in securing funds for acquiring additional resources to support State & Regional infrastructure Methodologies/ Local Policy Adoption Makers Pedagogy at CCCs Supporting SN & -Administrators Other BSI Initiatives -Faculty -Support Staff Create statewide infrastructure -Students (Permanent learning network among 110 Colleges and a CCC Center) -Establish statewide coordinating center -Guide the development of and coordinate & support a system of regional networks Institutional Learning -Coordinate & support partnerships among professional development efforts Support for Sustained, -Provide vision & support for the development of innovative professional development activities Innovative/ Alternative & Collaborative -Introduce & engage in collaborative evaluation activities that generate knowledge about effective Engaging Learning learning to transform practice Methodologies/ Networks Pedagogy Create regional level infrastructure (networks) -Develop & support long-term on-going regional professional development training & supporting Skilled materials for the target population Implementation of -Develop infrastructure for colleges to learn about & share innovative instructional programs Faculty Learning Responsive, -On-going evaluation of professional & program activities, including benchmark assessment & Implementation of Innovative, capacity building Innovative/ Alternative & Integrated Engaging Essential Methodologies/ Academic Skills Pedagogy Curriculum Develop a cadre of campus leaders -Conduct Summer Leadership Institute, ASCCC Workshops, Other Leadership Institutes & on-going professional development activities -Develop strategies to retain effective leaders -Guide annual revision of Campus BSI Action Plans Student Learning -On-going evaluation of the process and impact of professional development activities Success of Students’ Personal Goals, Increased Learning, Completing AA/AS & Success & Promote models of effective practices Certificate Programs & Persistence of -Build capacity of all faculty to teach students who are underprepared for learning in college courses Transferring to 4 Yr Students -Develop Web-based, virtual teaching & learning communities, including a virtual resource library Colleges -Engage in collaborative evaluation activities
