 Human Resources is another widely implemented ERP module. ERP HR
module streamlines the management of human resources and human
capitals.
 HR modules maintain a complete employee database including
biographical data, academic data, salary details, attendance, leave
management, performance evaluation and promotion of all employees.

9. Functions of HR Management Module
1) Expense Management
 If systems have the capability to handle the expenses well then you can
avoid significant losses by setting your terms of sales effectively. In fixed-
price contracts, expense reimbursements are usually invoiced according to
the actual expense.
2) Holidays Management
 Leaves requests can be recorded by employees and validated by their
managers. Once a leave request is validated it appears automatically in the
agenda of the employee. You can define several allowance types (i.e. paid
holidays, sickness, etc) and manage allowances per type.

3) Timesheets
 Throughout the day, when employees work on one project or another, they
add a line to the timesheets with details of the time used on each project. At
the end of the day, each employee must mark all the time worked on client
or internal projects to make up the full number of hours worked in the day. If
an account is not in the system then the time is added to the hours that
have not been assigned for the day.

 Track the profitability of projects in the analytic accounts, look at the history
of timesheet entries by project and by employee, regularly adjust hourly
costs by comparing your rates with actual

1) Keep track of the employee contracts
Using the module hr contract one can link employee records with their
contracts. All the details of the contract including Employee functions, starting
and ending dates, working hours per day and wage type can all can be
mentioned. Hence if the employer wishes he/she can bring a lot of
transparency in the employee-employer relationship
2) Interview requests
Interview Requests are generated automatically by Open ERP according to an
employee's Appraisal Plan. Each user receives automatic emails and requests
to evaluate their colleagues periodically

3) Enter your attendance
Hr attendance module in Open ERP takes care of the entire process, including
entering the project you are working on. Many times employees forget to Sign
out at the end of the day in such circumstances they can manually feed the
timings the very next day.
4) Track expenses per project
Compatible with the Hr Timesheet Invoice module this enables us to
automatically re-invoice our customer’s expenses based on the work done on
the project. Thus it becomes easier to reimburse the employee
