PLAN AND IT WAS LOCATED NEAR THE MAIN BUILDING..THIS PARTICULAR SPACE HAVE
BEEN USED AS AN ASSEMBLY HALL , RELAXING AREA,LUNCH TIME , OUTDOOR TEACHING
AND MOVEMENT .
Security room
Security guard room was in the South-East and was placed at the middle
of the two gates in the East Security room had conical roof.

Steel railings are not fixed on the

the Mangalore tiles portrays the
unique vibrant effect.
The columns are cemented which
gives a rustic appearance and the
wooden doors are painted in
orange to grab attention.
The building consists of large
corridors with large windows of
different sill levels.
CENTRAL Courtyard -
The layout of the open courtyard is somewhat similar to that of a maze.
It is composed of stones, and the tricky dead ends are made up of four courtyards.
The courtyards connects to the amount of area occupied by the courtyards is about the size
of four or more classrooms.
The courtyards are planted with trees and shrubs.
The pentagonal courtyard in the main building is surrounded with classrooms.
This brings out the sudden transition from building environment to natural environment. The
courtyards are one of the significant elements of the school.
LANDSCAPE-
It has a gurukul type of planning. the plants are planted in stone cemeteries. Ornamental plants are
provided at the entrance for aesthetics.
the landscaping provided with stone cladding, added to the effect .there was a good amount of nature
involved.
Library-
.the furniture is usually a scaled down version of the furniture used in other areas of the library.
Many of the pieces such as shelving units, tables and chairs are used throughout the library are
designed specifically for use by smaller individuals.

CLASSROOM -
it is rectangular in plan . The furniture's are designed according to the size of
the student and it consists of rectangular and hexagonal tables, stools and
chairs.
LABORATORY -.
The lab tables were spaced apart to create adequate aisles.
The tables were spaced to prevent accidents at one table from affecting
other tables
Furniture's for the science lab students were according to the size of the
students.
The laboratory tables had a surface which is both fire and chemical resistant
for safety reasons.
Other pieces of furniture cater to specific needs of the school such as storage
units and shelving.
The height of science lab tables may vary considerably. On average most lab
tables range in height from 26 inches to 37 inches.
Fire safety -
The provision of fire safety in the building is very good.
There are fire safety extinguishers which are provided in each of the floors.

Toilets have been provided for ladies and gents.
accessible from the class rooms and labs.
For the staff separate toilets were provided.
