I use Visual strategies by changing my words into pictures. It helps me with remembering definitions. I
use pictures that relate to my own experience and things around me. Aural being one of my highest
scores is most beneficial to me. I know attending all classes and getting involved with class discussion
help when its time to study. I always recap later on what; what said in class by myself and others. With
Read/write being my second highest, my note taking is pretty good. Having my text book in front of me
really helps with what I’m learning. I love looking at the examples and answering questions in the book.
By applying the strategies used from the VARK I tend to stay more relaxed and focused.
