What’s the real difference between Network Marketing vs Internet Marketing?
Never before in human history have there been this many opportunities to build your very own
business. Before you use to need absolute mountains and mountains of capital, all kinds of specialized in
skilled knowledge and expertise, and access to Titans of industry that you could rely on to help guide
you through all of the necessary processes – and even then success was anything but guaranteed.
However, today, all of those old barriers to success are all but eliminated entirely. People are literally
building their very own businesses with little more than an idea, dream, and Internet connection –
creating the kind of multi-global businesses that we simply never could have imagined just a few short
years ago.
But when it comes to making money online, the two real major “realms” of business fall into these
distinct categories – network marketing and Internet marketing. And though they share much in
common, the truth of the matter is that they are two completely and different types of businesses
relying on completely different business models and will require completely different approaches to
succeed.

What is network marketing?
Network marketing is effectively trying to pull in more and more people into your network, acting as
commission salespeople that not only help you sell more product – but also contribute to your take-
home pay at the exact same time.
You’re almost always recruited into a network marketing solution by someone else, and become part of
their “downline” in the process. From here, you’ll probably have a handful of businesses, products, or
services that you can sell – which are also encouraged to bring in as many people to your “downline” as
humanly possible to speed up the profit generating process. You get a cut of all the money from
everyone underneath you – just as everyone above you gets a cut from your sales – and the process
repeats itself infinitely.
What is Internet marketing?
Internet marketing in and of itself is simply using the Internet (maybe the world’s greatest invention – at
least and thus far) to instantly communicate with hundreds of millions of hot prospects with the click of
a button. The Internet has absolutely blown down all of the old barriers to commerce, allowing you to

create a business from scratch with free or almost free tools, technologies, and strategies that you
simply would not have had access to otherwise.
Internet businesses are almost exclusively run and operated on the Internet (big shocker there), but that
doesn’t mean that you cannot implement specific parts and components of network marketing into your
Internet marketing business – or vice versa. In fact, the best business model may be blending these two
specific strategies into one another (taking the best of both worlds, if you will) and creating a completely
new model – dominating your market and industry almost right off the bat.
While it’s impossible to say which strategy will work for your specific situation, the important thing to
