• Heidelberg Cement India Ltd has informed that the Company has on January 3, 2014, completed the sale and transfer of its cement grinding
facility at Raigad, Maharashtra to JSW Steel Limited, as a going concern on slump sale basis in accordance with Business Transfer Agreement
executed between the Company and JSW Steel Limited on October 05, 2013. The aforesaid sale and transfer will take effect from the end of
business hours today i.e. January 03, 2014.
• Moil Ltd has fixed price of various grades of manganese ore for the quarter Jan.-March., 2014. The price of the Ferro grade Manganese Ore
has been increased by 3% and price of SMAGR & Fines have been increased by 7.5% over the prices for Oct.-Dec. 2013.The prices of Electrolytic
Manganese Dioxide (EMD) have been increased by 5% over the prices for Oct.- Dec. 2013
• Tata Teleservices Clarifies on News item : With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Vodafone in Talks to
Buy Tatas Out of Teleservices", Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd has clarified to BSE that: The Economic Times article speculates about a
potential exit by shareholders of our parent company, Tata Teleservices Limited. The article does not pertain to our Company and we are not in
possession of any unpublished price sensitive information that is required to be intimated to the Exchanges in terms of the Listing Agreement.
• Coromandel Engineering Company Ltd have approved the Rights Issue of equity shares at Rs.20/- per Rights Equity share (including premium
of Rs.10/- per right equity share) in the ratio of 91 Equity shares for every 10 Equity shares held as on 15th January 2014, the Record Date.
• Mastek will be held on January 08, 2014, to consider a proposal of buyback of equity shares of the Company.
• Tata steel is considering an increase in the prices of its products in the January-March (Q4) of the 2014 financial year. The company was
mainly looking for an increase in the prices of long steel products as imports have squeezed
• The Cabinet gave its approval for conversion of pref shrs to equity in Indian Bank, UCO Bank and Vijaya Bank amounting to Rs 400 crore, Rs
1,823 crore and Rs 1,200 crore respectively into equity shares of these banks in favour of government, subject to approval of shareholders and
also Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and other authorities
• Energy Information Administration said that U.S. Natural Gas Storage fell to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of -97B, from -177B in the
preceding month. Analysts had expected U.S. Natural Gas Storage to fall -126B last month.
• U.K. Construction PMI fell to a seasonally adjusted 62.1, from 62.6 in the preceding month. Analysts had expected U.K. Construction PMI to
fall to 62.0 last month.
• European Central Bank said that Euro Zone M3 Money Supply rose to 1.5%, from 1.4% in the preceding month. Analysts had expected Euro
Zone M3 Money Supply to rise to 1.5% last month.

3. Management Tweets
• Escorts Mgt Guideline : Escorts Agri Machinery is optimistic of run rate going back to 6000 units per month from the current 4000 units by
February, March. The company grew more in north and east regions than south and west regions of the country. However, growth
predominantly for last few months has been coming in from the southern market. Moreover, mgt expects January to be better month for the
company than December. Mgt will launch new products by FY14-end .
• DLF Mgt Guideline : Realty prices are unlikely to correct in the days to come. the prices, especially in the Delhi-NCR region will not
decrease. Mgt believes the long approval cycles for most of the realty projects are also a deterrent for lower home prices. Mgt says that the
sales in Q3, October-Novermber-December, were flat to slightly negative, hinting to the fact that realty has not yet bottomed-out. Company
will pare debt by Rs 2000 crore to Rs 17500 crore by March-end. This paring of debt, Mgt is hopeful, will be aided by the Aman Resorts’ sale
that has been on the blocks for over two years now. DLF , in August removed its exclusivity clause with Aman Resorts’ founder Adrian Zecha
and is now negotiating with 5-6 bidders for a fresh deal.
