• U.K. Office for National Statistics said that PPI input fell by a seasonally adjusted 0.4% last month, disappointing expectations for a 0.3% gain.
PPI input declined by 0.9% in January.

Bokaro Jaypee Cement Limited, at a consideration of INR 1,150 crores on March 24, 2014, subject to various regulatory/contractual clearances and
permissions.

• Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd through its Swiss Subsidiary has received USD 4 million as research fee payment from Forest Laboratories Inc. on
a collaboration for the development of novel mPGES-1 inhibitors to treat chronic inflammatory conditions, including pain. The total amount
received by Glenmark from Forest Laboratories Inc towards its novel mPEGS-1 inhibitors program is USD 15 million.
• U.S. Commerce Department said new home sales declined by 3.3% to a seasonally adjusted 440,000 units last month, compared to
expectations for a decline to 445,000. New home sales in January were revised down to 455,000 units from a previously reported 468,000 units.
• Gateway Distriparks -Promoter Parameswara Holdings sells 29.8 lakh shares at Rs 150/share -ICICI Prudential Infrastructure Fund buys 6 lakh
shares at Rs 150/share -L&T Equity Fund buys 9 lakh shares at Rs 150/share Alert: Parameswara held a 2.75 percent stake and that entire stake
has been sold -Total promoter holding before this transaction was 41.96 percent
• Jaiprakash Associates has planned to sell 74 percent stake in Bokaro Cement to Dalmia Bharat -To sell stake in Bokaro unit to Dalmia Bharat at
Rs 69.74/Share Alert: Bokaro Cement is a JV between JP Associates and SAIL -Sells stake in Bokaro unit at Rs 690 crore -Capital gains of Rs 506
crore from Bokaro unit stake sale
• Conference Board, a market research group said its index of consumer confidence increased to 82.3 this month from a reading of 78.3 in
February, whose figure was revised up from a previously reported 78.1. Analysts had expected the index to inch up to 78.6 in March.
• Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd has received the formal approval for the restructuring of the debts from the empowered Group of corporate Debt
Restructuring Cell (CDR ) .
• Rosneft , the world's top listed oil producer by output, may join forces with Indian state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) to supply oil to
India over the long term . It said both companies, which work together on Russia's Sakhalin-1 project, may also join forces in Rosneft's yet-to-be
built liquefied natural gas plant in the far east of Russia to the benefit of Indian consumers of LNG.
• Federal Bank , a part of the consortium that had given loans to Vijay Mallya's Kingfisher Airlines , has recovered Rs 10 crore till date and is
making efforts to get back the remaining dues from the beleaguered carrier.
• NHPC said company is also set to restart the first two units of Dhauliganga in first fortnight of April and the balance two units will be restarted
by May-end. NHPC said the Parbati III hydel project has started commissioning and he sees incremental revenues of Rs 560 crore post this
commissioning for 2014-15.
