• Zydus Cadila Healthcare Mgt Guideline : Mgt says the increased inspection is a positive for the industry . This, despite the fact that the
company has received a warning letter from the US regulator. Mgt Says , Indian pharma will start recoving from April 2014 and that a doubledigit growth is likely.
• Tech Mahindra Mgt guideline : Ahead of its Q3 results the company said it will continue to focus on growth. Company can’t give guidance for
FY15, but it expects to maintain a steady profile . Mgt said though the market is clearly better for the IT sector, especially Europe and the
emerging markets, the growth won’t be dramatic for IT spends .
• Rolta India Mgt Guideline : Company is seeing traction coming in from such as US and Middle East . In growing verticals, the company is
focusing on big data analytics, 3D modeling and defense systems . There is a requirement for battlefield management systems. It is a USD 5
billion contract. Company is quoting for it . If Company gets it, it can change the complexion of the company .
• HCL Tech Mgt Guideline : Mgt says, the company’s success with its employees and customer and said that the company will continue to
reinvent itself in 2014. The company is seeing balanced growth in markets like US, Europe and Asia. Further, Mgt said that HCL’s infrastructure
management service, which is an underpenetrated market, will continue to grow at a rapid pace. HCL Technologies caters to half of total re-bid
market worth USD 150 billion .
• CMC Mgt Guideline : Mgt says 14 clients in the last quarter and saw growth in mining, e-governance and transport verticals. Talking about the
outlook for fiscal year 2014-15, Mgt said revenues from India may be pressured as decision making slows around the election, but he said the
second half would be better. CMC also sees opportunities in the international markets in FY15 .
• Reliance Industries is looking to pick up an 11 percent stake in Venezuela's Petrocarabobo project that was recently surrendered by
Malaysia's Petronas, and is eyeing exploration assets in Mexico . Company is also looking to participate in the heavy oil upgrades project and a
farm-in in the Carabobo-1 block, taking over the participating interest of Petronas
• Tata Steel has opened the UK’s largest profiling centre for steel plate in the WestMidlands, increasing its plate processing capacity in the
region by up to 50 per cent. The £3.1 million facility provides a step change in Tata Steel’s capability to supply plate that has been cut and
finished to exact size, shape and quality specifications. Steelpark’s profiling capacity will be increased to 47,000 tonnes per annum.
• U.K. Office for National Statistics said the rate of consumer price accelerated at a seasonally adjusted 2% last month, down from 2.1% in
November. Analysts had expected consumer price inflation to hold steady at 2.1% last month.
• Eurostat, the European statistics agency said industrial production increased by a seasonally adjusted 1.8% in November, beating
expectations for a 1.4% gain. Industrial production in October was revised to a 0.8% decline, compared to a previously reported drop of 1.1%.
• U.K. Office for National Statistics said that PPI input rose by a seasonally adjusted 0.1% last month, compared to expectations for a 0.2%
decline. PPI input fell by 0.7% in November.
