raised in San Francisco, California, United
States, his family is of Italian origin.
 Graduated from St. Ignatius College
Preparatory. He holds a bachelor's degree in
economics from the University of San
Francisco in 1972.
 He received an MBA from the Haas School of
Business at the University of California,
Berkeley in 1974.
 Paul otellini is the fifth CEO in the company's great
45-year history
 Otellini's retirement will close the door on almost 40
years of employment with Intel.
Employment at Intel:
He joined Intel in 1974.
Otellini was appointed an operating group vice president
in 1988,
Elected as an Intel corporate officer in 1991,
Made senior vice president in 1993, and
Promoted to executive vice president in 1996.
CEO Paul Otellini announced his resignation in November
2012 and was retired in may 2013.
Otellini is also a member in the Professional
Business Fraternity Delta Sigma Pi while
attending the University of San Francisco.
Otellini's brother, Rev.Steven Otellini, is a
Roman Catholic priest in the Archdiocese of
San Francisco currently serving as pastor of
The Church of the Nativity in Menlo Park,
California, United States.
