2. Born/ Raised I was born in Overland Park at Overland Park Regional. I have lived in Shawnee since I was born and at 16 years old me and my family moved from the house that I grew up in.
3. Dream house This slide represent how living in a apartment my entire life has made me become fond of bigger houses and having my own space.
4. Family I live with my mom Leanne and two cats. One cat is named Magic aka. Fatboy. The newest edition to the family is our new cat Winnie.
5. Religious Background I do not have a specific religious background, but I do believe in God. I just do not go to church every Sunday like I should. An example of me using my belief in god is when I chose to become a Marine.
11. Music The music that I listen to has shaped me into the person I am today. It also effects what I do for fun and the people who I hang out with. For example the song Dirt Road Anthem.
13. Motivated My friends would say that I am motivated because if I put my mind to do something I don’t half ask it. I do it to the best of my ability. A good example of this would be at PT I am may not be the fastest or strongest person out there but I am always the loudest and am always the person motivating the person next to me to keep pushing it.
14. Authentic My friends say that I am authentic because my quote is “I am who I am and if you don’t like it you can kiss my butt because I aint changing for anyone”.
15. Funny My friends would say that I am funny because my objective in life is to make people laugh. It doesn’t matter how I do it just as long as their laughing.
16. Family Customs The first family custom would be that for the past 18 years my mom has always made me a birthday breakfast which always has heart pancakes every year. The second family custom has to deal with the tooth fairy. Back in the day when I believed in the tooth fairy my mom would do what many parents do and took my teeth and put 50 cents under my pillow. But once I was about 8 years old and no longer believed in the tooth fairy she presented me with all of the teeth that she had kept for me.
17. Significant Events The most important event in my life so far was when I told my mom that I was joining the military. This was significant because I had to make the decision to be away from my mom for month at a time.
18. Significant Event The second most significant moment in my life so far is when I swore in to protect my country for at least the next eight years of my life. This was significant because this was the first adult decision I made in my 17 years of life.
20. Why? I am going to Marine Corps boot camp so that I can become a solider. At boot camp they will teach me how to become the toughest of the tough. They will teach me how to protect my country no matter what.
22. Why? I want to become a Marine because I want to be able to become something bigger than myself. I want to be able to say 50 years from now that I did something with my life and that I put my life on the line for my country.
