Needy students to benefit
from Rattansi bursaries
    The Rattansi Educational Trust recently donated Kshs
     12,466,890.00 to support needy students in local
               institutions of higher learning.


T
      he University of Nairobi was the main
      beneficiary getting over Kshs 2.3 million to
      support needy students. The donations were
made by the Trust’s Chairperson, Mrs Vijoo
Rattansi in a function at the University of
Nairobi, attended by representatives
of public and private institutions of
higher learning.
Speaking during the disbursement ceremony,
Mrs Rattansi pledged that the Trust will continue
supporting higher education in the country by
financing the needy students. In what is an annual
event, , many institutions of higher learning
in Kenya , have over the last 56 years received
bursaries to support needy students from the
