10. The simile is comparing the geometry test and mud. Mud is not clear and cannot be seen through. The geometry test was difficult and hard to understand. Saying that the geometry test was as clear as mud is saying that the geometry test was unclear. Identify the two parts of the simile. Explain what each part of the simile actually means. Explain what is actually meant by the use of the figurative language.
