2. ISMN Home Page
The Home Page
includes links to Kmail,
the Class Connects
Session schedule,
Account settings,
thebigthinK12, and
current courses.

view of the “Days Since
Last Login”, “To-Do”
and “Course Average”
sections!

3. CLASS CONNECTS
The Class Connects
Sessions Calendar is a
list of scheduled Class
Connects and includes:
Click the tab to change the view choice.
The Date
Time
Session Name
Session Type
Teacher Name
Switch between the
“Daily View” and the
“Weekly View” using
the tabs at the top.

4. TIME ZONE CHECK
To set the time zone
setting, click the little
blue person icon below
the “Course Menu.”

5. TIME ZONE SETTINGS
Ensure the Time Zone is
set to Minnesota time:
(GMT-06:00) Central
Time (US & Canada)
Click “Save Changes” to Click the tab to access the drop-down menu.

6. ANNOUNCEMENTS
Check the course
Announcements on the
Course Home page
Daily.
Click on the “+” to
expand and
announcement.
Click the “-” to
minimize read
announcements.

7. WHAT’S NEW
Check out the “What’s
New” section every
time you log into class.
You can expand or
minimize the “What’s
New” items.
Select the “What’s
New” view by changing
the “See What’s New
Since” using the scroll
menu.

8. COURSE CHECKLIST
Click on the blue
“Course Checklist “ link
at the bottom of the
“Course Home” page to
open a list of the
coursework that has a
due date that is already
past and to see what is
coming up.

9. COURSE CHECKLIST
Items with a due date
in RED indicates that
the assignment’s due
date has passed.
Items with a due date
in BLACK indicates that
the assignment’s due
date is coming up.
Clicking on the
GO link will take you
directly to that
assignment.

10. DROPBOX
The “Dropbox” link is
located in the “Tools”
menu.
ALL assignments should
be uploaded to the
corresponding
assignment dropbox.
Click on the dropbox to
open it and upload
your assignment.
Please do not Kmail any
assignments unless requested
by an Instructor.

11. DOC SHARING
The “Doc Sharing” link
in the Tools bar may
contain important
documents for the
course.
The use of this tool
varies by Instructor.
Please do not use the Doc
Sharing to submit
assignments unless requested
by an Instructor.

12. HOME
To get back to your
“Home” view, click the
house icon at the
bottom of the “Course
Menu.”
*You can also “log off”
of the LMS by clicking
the Key icon.
