1. How would I discover my world view and that
possessed by other people?
2. We all have different ways of defining what makes up ‘the
good life’. This is because we possess different world
views.
Our world views are made up of our basic beliefs about the
world around us and ourselves.
We may not be conscious of these basic beliefs but we all
have them. Our world view is more than just our set of
values, because it is concerned with ultimate or
foundational questions.
Think for a moment of a tree. Its very life is dependent upon
the nourishment delivered to its trunk ,branches and leaves
through its roots.
A WORLD VIEW IS THE ROOT, THE SOURCE, FROM WHICH
OUR THOUGHTS, VALUES, ACTIONS AND FEELINGS SPRING.
