A higher percentage of our students are scoring in the Does Not Meet the Standard/Performance Level 1 category than the State average in Science in all three grades.
Again, we are scoring lower than the State average in all three grades.
This test is only required for the 8th graders. However, we had the 6th and 7th graders take the assessment, too. Overall, 92% of our 8th graders achieved mastery/competency which is good. But, why did students in 8th grade perform so much better than the 6th and 7thgraders? Does anyone have an explanation?
