2. Energy
Potential: Potential energy is the energy
that is being stored up inside of something.
Kinetic: Kinetic energy is the energy that is
being used, like if you are running you are
using kinetic energy.
If an airplane is about to land and is
slowing down its potential energy is
decreasing and the the kinetic is also
decreasing.

3. Chemical and Physical
Properties
Chemical: Chemical properties are:
flammability, aeration, combustion, and
rusting. These changes are irreversible.
Physical: Physical property examples are:
glass breaking, ice melting, cracking
eggs, etc.

4. Heat Transfer
Heat transfers in different ways on the next
three slides I will tell you about them.

5. Conduction
Conduction: Conduction is the transfer of
heat from one substance to another direct
contact.

6. Radiation
Radiation: Radiation is the transfer of heat
in the form of rays or waves.

7. Convection
Convection: Convection is the transfer of
heat through a fluid (liquid or gas) caused
by molecule motion.
