2. Most Useful New Tool The new tool I discovered in this course that I am really excited to utilize in my classroom is the assessment Obsurvey.com I think it will be very useful to create these for the books I am reading in my 3 leveled book groups. I can ask the students questions and see their opinions and what they are comprehending. I really liked all of the tools in this course and found them easy to incorporate into my classroom.
3. Successes I have mostly all successes with the tools used for this course. I found them to be very user-friendly and could easily fit right into my classroom. I know my students will really love the surveys, creating Timetoast timelines, and especially creating Glogsters. It’s always great when I’m excited about something to share because it then gets them excited to join in with me!
4. Challenges I found creating the Edmodo was the most challenging for me. It was very easy to set up and navigate and I love how it looks like a Facebook page, which I’m sure my students will love! However, I wasn’t sure what to include and specifically how I wanted my students to truly be using it. I think it will be very beneficial for posting online assignments, responses to books, or just sharing cool new things I come across. I look forward to how I can truly develop it and I’m sure my students’ ideas will help to shape it as well!
5. Moodle and Online Learning I really enjoy Moodlelearning! I like working at my own pace and in my own timing. I also think the setup of the projects makes sense and makes the learning experience more valuable. Rich Kikeralways does an outstanding job of organizing the readings and projects to allow for a very user-friendly learning environment! The videos and articles are fantastic at helping understand how to complete the assignmentsand give an added understanding of the value of the assignments.
6. The Online Classroom Online learning is very beneficial and allows your students to interact in a way that is natural to them. I believe it will motivate students academically. For my online classroom, I created an Edmodo. Edmodo is free, easy to navigate, and makes for a very organized learning environment. My Edmodo page username: mreppenhagen password: gateway

8. Lessons I used Google Docs as a place to create my lessons. I really like how it is in real-time, can be accessed at anytime/anywhere, and how I can easily share these documents with others through the web. Plus, I don’t have to worry about my work being lost or not saved correctly, it does the saving for me. My lessons: 1. Bullying Lesson 2. Perspective Lesson
9. Online Assessments Assessing through online tools is a great way to get students involved in a very interactive way. I chose to create my assessments through Obsurvey.com. 10. Differentiated Instruction Tool Teachers need to be differentiating on a daily basis. It is great to involve technology into this process and I believe it will motivate students and truly meet their needs.
