2. Ponding – The batten bars, cover strips, and seams produce raised areas that let water pool and often cause EPDM seam failures. These areas are easily repaired using Andek products which are not affected by ponding water. Andek products are UL and FM rated offering a light reflective Energy Star rating with a 10 yr renewable manufactures watertight warranty. Seam Failure – EPDM seam failures occur as the material shrinks and lose elasticity.
