X-Net Ltd. provides broadband wireless access (BWA) based data communication service with network
across all major cities in Bangladesh. It has been facilitating rapid IT revolution and internet connectivity
across the entire country since the year 2002. X-Net is a joint venture with GrameenPhone (A company
majority owned by Telenor, Norway).
Genesis Systems Ltd. provides application development and system integration services enabling
seamless IT support for all types of organizations. It brings together all types of IT from hardware,
communication to application under single umbrella.

Founded in 1995 with a group of US educated professionals who came back to Bangladesh after a
wide-ranging experience in the IT sector in US and elsewhere. GTG has evolved in the last 10 years
from a simple IT infrastructure vendor to a fully integrated IT & Communication solution provider in
standard based IT solutions.
GTG has always spearheaded the IT evolution in Bangladesh and ushered in standard based, process
driven, cost effective ICT support and services suited to the developing world.

12. X-Net Coverage
X-Net limited is building, continuously expanding and upgrading a nation-wide data communication network by using
Optical Fiber, Microwave and Radio link all over Bangladesh. At present, X-Net is located in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet,
Khulna, Rajshahi, Comilla, Bogra and Barisal (all major metro city location) and in near future it will go to all other
divisional headquarters and districts as well as remote areas.
In Dhaka, X-Net has multiple POPs (Point of Presence) connected by licensed 3.5 GHz and 5.4 GHz frequency radio
links. X-Net owns the biggest chunk of allocated frequency in 3.5 GHz range in Bangladesh. X-Net POPs are
interconnected by optical fiber links and the clients are connected with X-Net POPs by Radio Link. X-Net is using Carrier
Grade Wireless Broadband Access Through Point to Multipoint technology to give last mile connectivity to clients with
