PRAISE THE LORD.
Jeremiah 32:27 I am the Lord, the God of all
mankind. Is anything too hard for Me?
God, I worship You, adore You, and love You for Your mercy and grace. After being in three countries, after 5.5 years, I was delivered
from most of my diseases –God healed and touched my heart with blessings beyond us even receiving. I like to pray for believers in
Jesus’ name to get their healing, and God answers! I love You, Lord, for You are the Doctor, You are the Healer, You are everything to
me. How amazing You are, how amazing Your plans are! I cry and lift You up with Hosanna in the highest! I want souls out there to know
that they can be saved from their sins and be delivered when believing in Jesus! Lord, use me to be useful for others, to give this
message to everyone out there, and use this song lyrics to touch the broken hearts! May God save my father’s soul in His embrace and
bless my family! Amen.
2 Corinthians 12:7-9 Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a
messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But He said to
me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more
gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
Verensin, Sen Her şeyimsin.

We are from a father and a mother.
Adam was made of earth but we are born from a father and a mother. Why do they say we are from the earth? ‘From earth to
earth.’ The answer is: When we die, we become earth. From earth, grows wheats, we make bread, we eat, we live. From earth,
grows fruits and vegetables; we eat, we live. Grasses come from the earth, cows eat grasses, we drink their milk, eat their meat, we
live. From sheep, we get clothes, we live. From rocks on earth and trees, we make buildings, we live in.
Fish live in the sea, the earth holds the sea, we eat the fish, we live. Birds fly in the sky, they live on the
earth, we hunt and eat them, we live. From earth we live, to earth we die and become earth. ALL human
beings are made of earth –except ONE.
W h o i s J e s u s ’ f a t h e r ?
Matthew 16:15-17 ‘But what about you?’ he asked. ‘Who do you say I am?’ Simon Peter
answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’ Jesus replied, ‘Blessed are you,
Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in
heaven.’ [Wooh! Hallelujah!]
We are all born by a father and a mother, right? But who is Jesus’ father? We all know that according to the
Scriptures, Jesus was born of Mary the Virgin. She did nothing to have a Son, but this was the will of God.
And we know, according to the Holy BIBLE and our belief, that the ArcAngel Gabriel gave her the good
news of being pregnant by the Holy Spirit of God. That is why in Christian belief, Jesus is the Son of God, the only person who is
born from the Holy Spirit is JESUS. The only person from above is Jesus. The only person who is HOLY is Jesus because
the Holy Spirit IS holy. Hallelujah. Now, ALL people... I repeat... ALL people are born of earth, but JESUS is the only One
born of the Holy Spirit. Is He a human being or ABOVE all human beings? He is between GOD and ALL human beings. 1
Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. [This is
the Word of God to prophet Isaiah (İsiah İbrani) years before Jesus Christ’s coming:] Isaiah 7:14 ‘‘Behold, the virgin shall
be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name ‘Immanuel’ which is translated, ‘God with
us.’’ [WOW]
Now we know that Jesus was born hundreds of years after Abraham and we know that a person born of the Holy Spirit is Holy, he
NEVER lies, he IS the PURE TRUTH. As of John 8:58, Jesus Himself says, ‘Before Abraham was, I AM.’ WOW. He doesn’t
say, ‘...I was.’ He says, ‘Before Abraham was, I AM.’ He IS ONE with God as He, in John 10:30 says, ‘I and the Father are
one.’ And look what prophet Isaiah prophecies through the Holy Spirit years before: Isaiah 9:6-7 ‘‘For unto us a Child is
born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of peace. Of the increase of His government and
peace, there will be no end. Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with
judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.’’
There’re other prophecies such as: Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans
of Judah, out of you will come for Me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from
ancient times.” 2 Samuel 7:12-13 says: When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up
your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will
build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. Or the
prophecies of Zechariah 9:9 & 12:10, Psalm 22:16-18 by King David, Isaiah 50:6 and chapter 53,
Jeremiah 31:10, Ezekiel 37:26-27, Daniel 9:24-27, and many more. [HOW MANY PROOFS???]
Do Christians have 3 gods?
NO. NEVER. HAYIR. ASLA. According to Christians,
GOD IS ONE. (Hıristyanları göre, Rab BİR tanedir.) In all the
Scripture, it is constantly mentioned that God is ONE. But if God wants to be in the form of human
being, can’t He? If God wants to be in 100 or 1,000 different cities at one time, can’t He? Of course He can; He is the GOD, the
Almighty GOD, the Able GOD. His POWER is beyond ALL people’s thoughts. HE is the LORD. As of Christian belief, GOD is
ONE in three characters: The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. It’s like, I’m Michael for me, I’m a friend for my friends, and
I’m a neighbor for my neighbors, but does it mean I’m 3 people??? NO. NEVER. It’s still the SAME me. I’m ONE person. Or it’s
like I see the cars from the rooftop of a skyskraper, or from the seventh floor, or from the street. Does this mean that the SAME cars
are bigger or smaller? NO. They are the SAME cars. Or it’s like my right hand does a job and my left hand does another job, but my
right and left hands are in my body. So I say ‘I’ did the job. For one reference, take a better look at the above verses of Isaiah 9:6-7.
And look what Jesus, the Man born of the HOLY SPIRIT who is HOLY HOLY HOLY and IS the TRUTH, says: John 10:30-
33 [Jesus said] ‘I and the Father are one.’ Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus
said to them, ‘I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?’ ‘We are
not stoning you for any good work,’ they replied, ‘but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.’
[I’ll give you more proofs!]
Has the Bible been changed?
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God. (All Scripture is God-breathed.) Honestly, the
ones who claim so, have NO IDEA of the POWER of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, the Maker of ALL things in the whole
Universe. NO ONE can change the Holy Bible, for God can again and again bring it back to the SAME. Let me give you an
example from the Holy Bible. When the Judah’s king, Jehoiakim burned a scroll of the Words of the LORD GOD, God said to
Jeremiah 36:27-28&30-31, ‘Take another scroll and write on it all the Words that were on the first scroll...’ Therefore, about
Jehoiakim, king of Judah, this is what the Lord says: ‘He will have no one to sit on the throne of David; his body will be
thrown out and exposed to the heat by day and the frost by night. I will punish him and his children and his attendants for
their wickedness...’ Who do we think God is? Can we imagine TORNADOS?? Woof! Scary! Can we imagine one of the space
rocks is right above our head?? I’d die! Can we be face to face with a smoky bear? Horrifying!! There are many huge things our
puny minds can’t take, just as how the creation of a grain of sand is! Even ONE POINT of the Holy Bible cannot be
changed unless one doubts the AWESOME POWER of the HOLY LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. (Meğer biri, Her
Şeyin Gucunu Yeten Kutsal Tanrı’nın harika gucu şüphelenirse, Kutsal Kitap’ta bir noktada bile değişemez.)
Isn’t it enough miracle that ‘Fear not!’ is mentioned in the HOLY BIBLE 365 times, even 366 times, according to
the days of a year? The purpose of the Holy Bible is for the sinful mankind to find SALVATION. The HOLY
BIBLE is the POWEFUL Book of the HOLY LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. Matthew 24:35 + Mark 13:31 +
Luke 21:33 [Jesus said] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My Words shall not pass
away.
Why four Gospels? Any contradictions?
When something happens in the history, would we believe it more if it were told one time or four times? In modern history, when
the president of a country does something, a lot of newspeople jump in and tell the news in different styles in their own perspectives
through different channels. The Most High humbled Himself and came down on earth in the form of a human being. How MUCH
more this is important? The Gospels(Dört İncil) were written by the Power of the Holy Spirit, the Most Reliable.
[The Perfect Stranger] Nikki: Speaking of the Bible, what about all those contradictions? Jesus Christ: Like which ones? –I
don’t know the specifics but... –Then I’ll give you one. One Gospel account says that I healed two blind men outside Jericho,
another account says I healed one. (Matthew 20:29-34, Mark 10:46-52, and Luke 18:35-43.) –Well, there you go. –Tell me
something. The other day at work, when you were telling Les that story about when you and Matt went to the movies, had
the two of you gone alone that night? –No. Matt’s friend, Tim, was with us. –So, why did you leave that fact out? –Because
he was irrelevant to the story I was telling. [She realizes that she already answered her question!]
Why did Jesus come to earth?
You came from Heaven to earth - To show the way - From the earth to the cross - My debt to pay - From the cross
to the grave - From the grave to the sky - Lord I lift Your name on high –SonicFlood
Do you really want to know? Well, the answer is because he LOVES us! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Isaiah 54:10 Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My unfailing love for you will not be
shaken, nor My covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
And also to SAVE us from our too many SINS! 1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the
truth is not in us. When you work somewhere, they PAY you. When you work SIN, the PAY is DEATH because God is Light
and sin is darkness. SIN has no place in the presence of the LORD –as Adam and Eve sinned and were sent out of the garden of
Eden –although the LORD is patient with our sins. God is Light, and no darkness (sin) is in His glory. Romans 6:23 For the
wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Let me explain. Blood of a lamb washes away sins. This is the Law of God. That is why they sacrifice (kurban etmek) a lamb. When
God appeared in a dream to Abraham that he needed to sacrifice his son, at the point of sacrificing, God showed Abraham that he
needed to sacrifice that lamb instead of his son. So they sacrifice a lamb for their sins to be washed away. In fact, it started from
Adam and Eve’s sin, for after they sinned, they covered themselves with fig leaves, but they were not enough. God Himself covered
them. Genesis 3:21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. But wait! Where
did the garment come from, other than a lamb had to be killed? According to the Law, a sacrificed lamb’s blood washes away the
sin. And they offer the burnt sacrifice to God. Now, God knew that the sins of the world had been too many, from burning one’s
child, to murder, to adultery, to greed, and to lie. So many of the same people who sacrificed lambs, committed adultery and did
other horrible sins. These hadn’t pleased God. 1 Samuel 15:22 But Samuel replied: "Does the LORD delight in burnt
offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to
heed is better than the fat of rams. So the Lord God decided to come to earth in the form of a Human Being to make a deal.
(Rab, bir İnsan olarak, bir anlaşma yapmak için yer üzerinde gelmeye karar verdi.) He comes on earth, loves the loving, teaches the
teaching, and being Holy, without having any sin, gives HIS BLOOD as once-for-ever sacrifice! But... Who can be saved? 1 John
2:1-2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an Advocate
with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours
but also for the sins of the whole world. Wow to this God, wow. He’s so Amazing that without any sin is ready to carry the
sins of the whole world on the cross, so that our sins would die on the cross. Let’s see what John the Apostle says: 1 John 1:7 But
if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son
cleanses us from all sin. Now, do you see one of the reasons why Jesus Christ has so many lovers all around the world? John
3:16-18 ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not
believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only
Son.’ Also John 5:24 [Jesus said] Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent
me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
Why did Jesus leave the earth?
Well, that’s the new-believer’s question. Jesus in John 16:7 says, ‘Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage
that I go away, for if I don't go away, the Counselor won't come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.’ The
Counselor is the Holy Spirit. Who is the Holy Spirit? At the end of Chapter 1 of this filebook, I’ll explain about it. Other names for
the Holy Spirit (the Counselor) are the Comforter, the Advocate, the Helper, and the Redeemer. Jesus in John 14:16-17 says,
‘And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth. The
world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you
and will be in you.’
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the
God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the
comfort we ourselves receive from God. If I have all the money in the world but no PEACE in my mind, I have nothing. If I
go on the best vacation but my heart doesn’t rest, I have nothing. PRAISE be to the GOD OF ALL COMFORT who gives us
Heavenly PEACE. HALLELUJAH, YESHUA, HALLELUJAH JESUS.
What is the proof of Jesus promises?
Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him
from the dead, you will be saved. [One of God’s promises.]
We know a tree from its fruit. We know Jesus is the LORD when we ask HIM things and He answers. Actually when we accept
JESUS CHRIST as our LORD and Savior, we hold on to His PROMISES, of which recieving the HOLY SPIRIT, the
COMFORTER. When you promise someone, you give him something as a proof. What proof Jesus gives to His believers? 2
Corinthians 1:20-22 says, ‘For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so
through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand
firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit,
guaranteeing what is to come.’ THIS is the God I know. THIS is the God who ANSWERS prayers. THIS is the God we
LOVE, THIS is the God we WORSHIP, THIS is the God we ADORE and PRAISE. THIS is the God we LOVE. A ‘Christian’ and
‘pray’ are supposed to be inseparable. We need to pray and thank God in all circumstances. We have prayer sessions during the
week. When we pray for a lot of people and we see that God ANSWERED the prayers, we, more and more and more, come to the
increase of our belief and faith that THIS God is the TRUE, LIVING GOD, the GOD of gods, the HOLY GOD. If I didn’t see that
He answered prayers, I would doubt, but THIS God is the FAITHFUL God. I thank You Lord in HOLY, PRECIOUS JESUS’ name.
Amen. I dare everyone to ask something in belief in Jesus’ name. John 20:29 Blessed are those who have not seen and yet
have believed.”
[I dare you. = Size meydana okuyorum./ Hadi bakalım ne yapacaksınız./ Gücünüzü gösterin bakalım.]
Jesus forgives sins. Who can forgive sins???
Luke 7:48 Then Jesus said to her, "Your sins are forgiven." John 8:11 [On the response to ‘if anyone thought he
wasn’t a sinner to cast the first stone on her’] She said, ‘No man, Lord.’ And Jesus said unto her, ‘Neither do I
condemn you. Go, and sin no more.’ A man who is born of earth may lie, the only man who is born of Heaven, NEVER lies.
He IS Holy and the PURE TRUTH. John 14:6-7 Jesus said to him, “I’ am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one
comes to the Father except through Me.” There is no higher TRUTH than Jesus Christ, the Lord. Jesus, by his own Almighty
hands, has all the authorities on Heavens and Earth. He, according to the Holy Bible, forgives sins, heals all kinds of diseases, gives
sight to the blind, gives hearing to the deaf, gives speaking to the dumb, heals the lepers, heals fever, casts all kinds of demons and
heals the demon-possessed, gives life to the dead, wow; walks on water, calms the storm, gives food to 5,000 with 5 loaves of bread
and 2 fishes, and to 4,000 with 7 loaves of bread and some small fishes; and does ALL kinds of miracles. WHO can do ALL these?
You can read more of His miracles in the ‘Bible’ which means ‘Good News’.  Acts 4:12 “Nor is there salvation in any
other (than JESUS), for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Jesus Christ is the LORD, the Way; the Truth; the Life; the Master; the Teacher; the High Priest; the Advocate;
the Savior; the Fairest; the Root; the Shepherd; the Bread; the True Vine we abide in; the Water of Life we
quench our thirst with; the Brightness of the Father’s glory; the Image of the living God; the Wisdom; the
Righteousness; the Sanctification; the Redeemer, the Healer, the Friend, and the Brother. JESUS IS LOVE.
Isaiah 53:4-9 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the
punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone
astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was
oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep
before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. By oppression and judgment, he was taken away. Yet
who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my
people he was punished. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he
had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. Hallelujah to the holy name of Love, Jesus Christ, the
LORD of all, the King, the Redeemer, and the Savior.
Just a few ‘more’ proofs that Jesus IS the Lord:
John 1:1 In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God. John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory,
glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 8:24 [Jesus said] “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do
not believe that I AM He, you will die in your sins.”
John 14:9-11 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long and yet you have not known
Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the
Father'?”
Acts 20:28 (God purchased us with His own blood.) Revelation 1:5-6 & Revelation 5:8-9 (Jesus' blood purchased
us.)
Revelation 1:8 - “I am the A (Greek:Alpha) and the Z (Greek:Omega), the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord,
“who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 22:13 - “I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the
Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”... 22:16 - “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these
things in the churches.”
Isaiah 44:24 - (God created the world by His self alone.) John 1:3; Colossians 1:16 - (Jesus made all things.)
Titus 2:13 - looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. LOVE
YOU, KING JESUS.
Why don’t miracles happen today?
Jesus healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, gave hearing to the deaf, made the paralytic people whole, gave life to the dead and so
and so. ‘Why don’t they happen today?’ Well, the question is ‘Are you SURE miracles don’t happen or you THINK they don’t
happen?’ In WHOSE Name Mel Bond gave sight to a born-blind in 2000? In WHOSE Name Franklin Walden healed a born-
lame, gave sight to a born-blind, and raised a dead? In WHOSE Name William M. Branham performed all those healing miracles?
I can list here millions of names!! Why don’t I check Sid Roth’s TV program ‘It’s Supernatural’ to see in WHOSE Name those
miracles are performed? One of the sisters in our church says his brother had so poor eyesight that couldn’t see one meter away and
a pastor laid his hand on his eyes and after half an hour, he never needed any glasses anymore! In WHOSE name that pastor prayed?
In WHOSE Name a brother in our church was prayed for and he has no more peptic(stomach) ulcer? The guy didn’t like English or
any lessons. In WHOSE Name he was prayed for and turned to an English lover? In WHOSE Name the lady’s constant headaches
were just gone? In WHOSE Name the little kid threw up for a couple of days but was instantly well and started jumping around?
James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The
prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. I tell you. We pray in JESUS’ Name, the Name above all names,
blessed be His name, the name of Lord Jesus.
Psalm 100:1-5 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with
joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of
his pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His
name. For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.
Hallelujah.
Hyper Static Union – Free Me lyrics: I was afraid to let You in - Would I break Your heart again? - So many times before - I could not
keep my promises - But You were dying to forgive - You gave Your life for me to live - And now I know it's time to find out - Who I
am in Your eyes, in Your eyes - Come in my heart, come in my home - Come in, You're welcome at Your throne - Come in and take
control - I know that I need You to rule my life - Free me from within - I am ready for my new life to begin - Take me from this
place - Oh Lord I seek Your face, I seek Your face - I've been a fool I've been wrong - I've been alone for too long - I've been
thinking that it's time I apologize - You've given life, You've given love - You've given all I can think of - You've given me the time to
find out - Who I am in Your eyes - I'm falling in again - I don't remember when life was any better - I just need to be held, I'm
feeling overwhelmed - Cuz life is so much better - This life is so much better - Free me from within - I am ready for my new life to
begin - Take me from this place - Oh Lord I seek Your face - I seek Your face
1 Chronicles 16:23-31 Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim His salvation day after day. Declare His glory
among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the
heavens. Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and joy in His dwelling place. Ascribe to the LORD, O
families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength, ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name. Bring
an offering and come before Him; worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness. Tremble before Him, all the
earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved. Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them
say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!"
Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a Mighty One who will save; He will rejoice over you with

I’m in love with You!
Do we hate anyone? Do we hate any of our friends, relatives, classmates, neighbors, co-workers, bosses,
teachers, or acquaintances? How many? 1, 2, 3? Maybe if we think more, we will see we hate many people
without we notice! Do we know what hate does to our heart? It causes stress, anger, pain, hurt, disease, and
many negative feelings. We clean the kitchens and throw the garbages away, wash the glasses to drink pure
water, aren’t our hearts much more valuable than the kitchens? Don’t we need to throw out the ‘‘hate garbage’’
and wash it away to accept the clean water of Word? Let’s forgive.

When Lionel Messi was 11, he was diagnosed that he could not grow in size
properly. Medication wasn’t cheap and his parents couldn’t afford it. He served
tea at a local shop to pay for his soccer training. At 13, he was as tall as an 8-
year-old kid. His local clubs in Argentina knew he was very good but with his
condition, didn’t want him. He didn’t grow much in size. There was no hope for
him. He had two choices: Stop and forget the soccer for ever; or move forward.
He DECIDED to move forward, focused on his potentials, and followed his
passion. Only a BRAVE person does that. He worked hard to improve his skills,
to prove himself. He was determined and optimistic. Finally, at age 16, FC
Barcelona heard about his talent, yet they saw he is not highly talented and he
had a condition too. But they also saw that he had a fighting HEART; he was DETERMINED TO BE THE BEST. And that
was enough for them. They flew him and his family to Spain, gave them a place to live, and paid for his treatment to grow
taller. He’s now one of the best soccer players in the world, won many cups and medals, earns millions of dollars every year,
and is famous for his great CHARACTER. All of these happened because that day he DECIDED to become the person of his
dreams. No matter who you are or how you look, you definitely CAN speak English. DECIDE. MOVE FORWARD. PROVE.

When Napoleon Hill was 13 years old, he wrote for a town newspaper. Later he interviewed a self-made
millionaire named Andrew Carnegie who changed Hill’s life. Hill agreed with him to interview with 500
richest, most famous people of America and published a revolutionary book named Think And Grow Rich
which sold 20 million copies then, and became the pioneer of modern motivational speaking. He soon became
the advisor of two Presidents of the United States! WOW. He discovered: Whatever mind can concieve and believe, it can

Napoleon Hill, after researching about more than twenty five thousand (25,000) people, wow, discovered:
‘‘Accurate analysis of over 25,000 men and women who had experienced failure, disclosed the fact that ‘Lack of
Decision(kararsızlık)’ was near the head of the list of the 30 major causes of failure.’’
The impact of Hill’s books was so great that a lot of millionaires in the U.S. have benefited from it or were
mentored by it, of them(onlardan), Jim Rohn who was personally mentored by John Earl Shoaff and personally

to help them win English speaking. (İngilizce konuşmak için ilgi duyanlar her zaman var. Bu dosyakitabı onları ilgilendirmek için

Interest or love comes from the heart, but to win English speaking we should find a wise way. Learning English is exactly like
doing a business. If someone took English courses but isn’t RICH with English SPEAKING, they should change their way this
time. To get IN this new way, they must get OUT of their old way. (Eğer biri eskiden kursa gitti ama İngilizce konuşmayla hala

‘BUT... WHY????’ Because... this is psychology! Everytime, before you open it, you should ask yourself, ‘Am I in a good mood
at this moment? Am I passionate and crazy enough to learn English in this very hour(tam bu saat’de)?’ If ‘not’, seriously, close the
filebook, do something else to change your mood and then come back to read it. But if ‘yes’, then welcome to the ‘Google-like
world of my thoughts (Google gibi düşünce dünyamı hoş geldiniz)’! [You know why Google is so successful? They’re
DIFFERENT! In Google HQ (Merkez Bürosu), their meetings are not like sitting somewhere as we know. Instead, they play
basketball, have FUN, and during that, come up with(find) some fresh, brand new ideas. This’s again, psychology! When you
play, you’re in a good mood, so your mind works better. (Oyun yaparken, iyi bir ruhsal durumunde olup, kafanız daha iyi

oyun yapmalı, iyi bir ruhsal durumunde olmalı ve daha eğlenmelısınız.)
After the decision, comes the ‘way’. (Karar vermekten sonra İngilizce öğrenme yöntemı geliyor.)
One evening I was sitting in a Starbucks in Istanbul, writing some of my thoughts on paper, throwing them away! I realized that’s
not what my life’s supposed to be (Hayatım öyle olmamasını fark ettım). I needed to DO something! Having taught in Ankara, I
bought a notebook to watch some movies and connect the Internet. At first, honestly, I had no idea that buying this notebook was
going to be the idea of doing a book. But one evening, again, I incredibly found myself in the same chair, same floor, same
Starbucks, and it reminded me of the same exact moment when I said to myself, ‘I needed to DO something!’ And there it was(Ve
işte cevap oradaydı), the idea that struck me(aniden bu fikir aklıma geldi), ‘I can DO a book and not only guide some classes, but
also guide MANY English lovers!’ So I openned a Microsoft Office Word and started this filebook with ONE word: ‘Love.’
It took me more than 4 years to write this filebook and gosh, it’s not easy as I imagined! I can write hundreds of pages of my ideas
in English, but for doing a book, I needed to research, think over and over again, inspire, design, and edit the sentences many times
as if(sanki) I was mapping out a way, then I got lost, then I got back, then I went again with constant conversion of multiple ideas in
my head, more importantly, I needed to use a lot of techniques to write something worthy, trusting intelligent readers, then it
became difficult! I found myself going to bed, eating, or walking in the street,
a great idea tempted my mind, then I took note. It seemed I was two people,
one ‘forgot’ himself, devoting and focusing on writing this filebook, another,
had a daily basis life. Sometimes I wanted to be with friends, but I either had
to be with them or with the filebook. I needed to learn Turkish too. As many
new expressions come into English language, I needed to find their Turkish
resources. After long hours of work, when I felt like quitting, some
motivating videos and quotes awakened my mind like the Roman philosopher
Seneca’s: ‘It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is
because we do not dare that they are difficult. (Yapmayı cesaret
edemediğiz şeyler, zor olduğun için değildir; bunun sebebi bizim
yapmayı cesaret edememektir).’ So much of the hardship on my way was
paved when I realized other people had so much harder times than me. When
Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) got a paralytic illness in 1921, he could retire
himself and stay home. Instead, he made a brave move, chose the hard task,
and became the President of the United States, not one, not two, but three
terms in a row, from 1933 to 1945, during ‘a worldwide economic depression
and total war’. With that situation, anyone could resign, but he ‘refused to
accept his illness and achieved a personal victory’, put up his popular campaign song ‘Happy Days Are Here Again’, and led his
country with ‘unfailing (yenmez) optimism and activism’. He created a national spirit which brought the unemployment rate from
24.9% in 1933 to 1.9% in 1945. ‘The only thing we have to fear is fear itself (Korkmamız gereken tek şey korkunun
kendisidir =Hiçbir şeyden korkmamalıyız).’ This noble man couldn’t walk, but inspired a nation to move –me included! I owe
him. Man! I sit here and access the world with a click but many others do the hard work and make outstanding websites like
‘Wikipedia’! The other evening, I practically(gerçekte) got freezed when I read its founder Jimmy Wales’ quote on a poster: ‘Some
called it impossible; I called it Wikipedia!’ Wow ’cause it made me realize writing a
filebook was way (çok) possible than making Wikipedia! [When YOU my friend learn
English, YOU effect others too.] When a person teaches, they learn twice as well, so the
truth is writing this filebook has changed my life. [How much more it will change YOUR
life!] So I’m glad I did it. Despite the hardship, I wish you all had the same feeling of joy
as I had when truly learning new things each and every day.
Do what you can; can what you can’t. (Yapabileceğini yap; yapamayacağını

If you don’t move, nothing changes. (Hareket etmezsen, hiçbir şey değişmeyecek.) –Albert Einstein
Tennessee is full of hills. To jog, the hills don’t come to me, I must get out of the bed and GO to them, I must make a MOVE.
When I’m in bed, I think it’s hard, but when I just get to the door, I see it’s easier. Nothing happens unless I make a MOVE.
There are rivers everywhere. To take fish, they don’t come to me, I must GO to them, I must grab them, I must make a
MOVE. No boat? This filebook is a boat! The will(irade) and the discipline to MOVE matter. To learn to speak English,
English doesn’t come to me, I must GO to it, I must make a MOVE –everyday. Even an empty bottle can effect a design
positively. How much more English can effect your life positively!! To learn English, you should use your eyes and ears
effectively.
Students ask when they can speak English. The answer is whenever their mind is ready. Is it ready now? (Öğrenciler ne zaman İngilizce
konuşabileceğini soruyorlar. Cevabı ne zaman onların düşünce hazır olduğundir. Şimdi hazır mı?)
If today ONE of my students studies well, it effects me and I’ll be happy. If I’m happy, I teach
other students better, so they’ll be happy and they’ll make others around happy too. I’ll speak better
to my family, my neighbor, my friends, and people around me, as well as they speak better to
people around them. See? A dominoe’s effect of happiness by ONE student of mine!! Now don’t
you think if my neighbor who’s a complete stranger to you studies well, YOU will be happy too?
Think about it.
If our washing machine doesn’t work one day, we have it fixed. If not fixable, we throw it away
and buy a new one. Why? Because we ‘naturally’ believe that a washing machine is responsible for cleaning our clothes, right? But
how about human beings, the creators of all washing machines? Aren’t they responsible? I believe they are. If a baker says, ‘I don’t
care,’ where should we find our daily bread? If a mechanic says, ‘I don’t care,’ who should fix our cars? If all people say, ‘We
don’t care,’ life stops moving! But if an educated person says, ‘I don’t care,’ it could mean that they don’t care about their job
either. ‘A bad hire flips the chance to the competitions (Kötü bir çalışan şansı rakiplarine verir/ Kötü bir eleman şansı
yanındaki mağazaya verir).’ That’s why American businesspeople believe: ‘HIRE CHARACTER; TRAIN SKILL (İyi
karakterlı çalışanları/elemanları işe al, onları becerek öğret).’ If there is ‘Kit Kat’ in this market, there is ‘Kit Kat’ in that market too.
But if there is a responsible worker like ‘John’ in this market, there isn’t the same responsible ‘John’ in that market. So John brings

If you asked why America is in the ‘forefront’ of technology, the answer could be in their ‘education’.

There’s an American radio ad(reklam) that says, ‘Turn children’s every moment into learning moment.’ And learning

In this era, wanting or not wanting to learn English speaking may not build our character, but it

How many students do you see in language school every weekend? MILLIONS, right? Bravo to ALL
of them. But why can’t many of them SPEAK English? THEY are smart, but what is their learning
WAY? If we don’t change our English learning WAY, our English speaking will be like this for ever.
Is this a good news? (Öğrenme yöntemimizi değişmezsek, İngilizce konuşmamız hep böyle olacak. Bu iyi
bir haber mi?)
What most Turkish people need to learn English is not talking about
Bangladeshi tigers or African giraffes detailed in some books, but it is to
talk about real life situations. (Çoğu Türklerı İngilizce konuşma

Afrikali zürafalar değil, ancak gerçek yaşam durumlerden

Prayer before starting Chapter 1: LORD God! Blessed be Your name. I worship You and praise You with all my heart, all my mind, all
my soul, and all my strength. I confess that I am nothing without You and I always need You. Thank You for listening to my prayer
and I ask You to bless the readers of this filebook according to Your will by pouring on them the Anointing of Peace and Truth, so
that they may find the Truth. Your Word is the Truth. May You make Yourself known to them from the riches of Your Mercy and
Grace, so that they may accept You and be saved. Thank You, Father, Son, Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name I prayed. Amen. 

My name is MichaelArash(Hassan) HosseiniDiva, simply known as Michael D!va. I love fun and I am here to show you a way of it
to learn English. Having a couple of years of overseas tutoring and teaching experience, I’m a TEFL (Teaching English as a
Foreign* Language) teacher certified by Cavendish College of London. If you have always desired to SPEAK English, I believe
you are reading the right filebook because it mostly focuses on speaking. I’ve gone this filebook’s way myself and there are
students in some parts of the world who’ve gone the same way and have changed their lives. If we want to change our life, we
should change your mind first. Also I’m granted the gift to encourage everyone. You’re not the first
person I’m encouraging and won’t be the last. Right here in Turkey, there were students who said they
didn’t even like English but after being in the class, became so interested in it that they wouldn’t want
to leave it (the class) and confessed that they’re LOVING English! There’s just this thing(Konu şu): I
think we really need a new perspective on what to do to LEARN to SPEAK ENGLISH. The old
system of ‘book and blackboard/whiteboard’ is OVER(bitti artık). Just grammar, grammar, and
grammar classes are OVER. Spiritless(Ruhsuz) English classes are OVER. ‘Sending text message in
the class because of getting bored’ is OVER! ‘Teacher-centered classes(Sadece öğretmen konuştuğun sınıflar)’ are OVER! ‘Taking
an English course just to pass an exam’ is OVER. Saying ‘I can’t speak English’ in the E-age (Elektronik devirde) is definitely
OVER! Just like a revolution in technology, there must be a revolution in learning English (Tam teknolojide devrim gibi, İngilizce
öğrenmeye bir devrim gerek/şart)! Please be with me(Benimle kalın/ Bir yere gitmeyın/ Okumaya devam edin lütfen). 

Mmm. Do you agree that we need a change? I believe we do. Look, guys! Books are great and read as many as
YOU want... but just books to learn English SPEAKING? I tell you: Break that rule! Really, BREAK that

When reading THIS filebook to learn English ‘speaking’, I’d JUST listen to THIS filebook. ‘A person with ONE watch KNOWS what time it

going ONE way. Movenglish will give you some proofs based on SCIENCE, FACTS, and WITNESSES that its way is the RIGHT way. 

 FIRST OFF(HER ŞEYDEN ÖNCE), A QUICK NOTE ON ‘HOW TO READ’:
As a student, if I read something in English loudly, my own voice wouldn’t let me understand what I was reading. And if I pause on
every word to look it up in a dictionary, I’d only focus on words, not the whole idea of the text. In second-hand book market,
there’re many English books with notes ‘only’ on the first pages, probably because the readers didn’t enjoy or understand what they
were reading.
So, what’s the best way to read? In 1800s, Francis Bacon suggested a great solution. The first time I
read it, I liked it and have done it all my life. And whenever I show this solution to my students, they
really surprise and enjoy what they’re reading. What is it? Well, whenever I read something, I’d first
read all of it silently, without any stop to get the whole idea of the text. I’d not look up the meaning of
any word in a dictionary for the first time. Even if I don’t know the meanings of some words, it
wouldn’t matter, I wouldn’t stop, because at least I’d understand what the text is talking about and I’d
enjoy my understanding. When I win to understand something, I feel good about myself. [The
reason I should read it silently is because my own voice shouldn’t distract me.] Now that I know what it’s talking about, the second
time, I’d stop on every new word to understand all the text. 
On reading: When reading this filebook, I wouldn’t deal in details too
much. I’d go for the key words, understand it as a whole and pass. After
a while, I’d see I gradually understand more. The joy of reading is
moving forward.
Okumakla ilgili: Sizin yerinde olsaydım, bu dosyakitabı okurken,
detaylara fazla uğraşmazdım. Anahtar kelimeleri alıp, genel
anlamasını anlayıp, geçerdım. Zaman geçince, yavaş yavaş daha
anlayacağımı farkında olurdum. Okumanın keyifi, ilerlemektir.
Tip1– In this filebook, whenever I see CAPITAL-LETTER(büyük harflı) words, bold(kalın) words, or
underlined(altı çizili) words, in my mind, I’d read them LOUDER or with STRESS(vurgu ile). Also if
I felt laughter, seriousness, anger, or surprise in any sentence, I’d feel the emotion and enjoy. 
Tip2– Books like ‘Pride and Prejudice’, ‘Snow White and Seven Dwarfs’, and such are great, but their
language might be old. Instead, I’d read short, up-to-date articles on the Internet to learn new words.
I’d forget my old way of reading. (Sizin yerine olsaydım, eski okumak yolumu unuturdum.)

1. Today, my 8-year-old son hugged me and said, ‘You are the best mom in the whole world!’ I smiled and sarcastically replied,
‘How do you know that? You haven’t met every mom in the whole world.’ My son squeezed me tighter and said, ‘Yes I have. You
are my world.’
2. Today, my dad turned 91. He barely has enough strength to speak. But every time my mom (she’s 84) walks into the room to
check on him, he says, ‘Hello beautiful.’
3. Today, when she woke up from a six-month coma, she kissed me and said, ‘Thank you for being here, and telling me those
beautiful stories, and never giving up on me… And yes, I will marry you.’
4. Today, a week after I donated three bags of clothes to a local homeless shelter, I saw a homeless woman sitting on a park bench
wearing a tie-dye* shirt I made when I was a teenager. I walked by her and said, ‘I love your shirt!’ She smiled and said, ‘Thank
you! I really do too!’ [*tie-dye shirt> Google Images]
5. Today, I sat down with my two daughters, ages 4 and 6, to explain to them that we have to move out of our 4 bedroom house and
into a 2 bedroom apartment for a while until I can find another job that pays well. My daughters looked at each other for a moment
and then my youngest daughter turned to me and asked, ‘Are we all moving into the apartment together?’ ‘Yes,’ I replied. ‘Oh, so
no big deal then (o zaman sorun yok),’ she said.
6. Today as I pulled into my apartment complex I noticed my neighbor who’s about 8-month pregnant, struggling with her
groceries(bakkalda alışveriş yaptığın melzemeler). I stopped and helped her bring them up the stairs into her apartment. This
evening, when I got home from the gym, I found a freshly baked apple-pie, sealed in Tupperware*, sitting on my doorstep, with a
note that said, ‘I used the ingredients you helped me carry to bake this. Enjoy(Afiyet olsun)!’ [pull into: içeri gelip, park etmek]
[*Tupperware>Google Images]
7. Today, my mom has been blind for 15 years. She lost her vision in the same car accident that took my dad’s life. I am 18 years
old now. She has raised me as a single mom since I was 3, without her vision. And yes, she did a heck of a job(=she did an amazing
job)!
8. Today, the homeless man who used to sleep near my condo showed up(=appeared) at my door wearing the ‘business suit’ I gave
him nearly 10 years ago. He said, ‘I have a home, a job, and a family now. 10 years ago I wore this business suit to all my job
interviews. Thank you.’

writing for me, it’s a great lesson for all of us. Let us read it. ]
Hello,
I wanted to write something to you. I am determined; I am strong; and I am a very smart person. My life is always difficult to
accomplish things. I continue my life consistently. And I never, never, never give up. I am a perfectionist, but sometimes impatient,
so I was just angry at myself. I do not want to just give up. That is why I do not want to understand things wrongly. I am smart,
successful and I trust myself. Sometimes I understand something a little late. This is not my fault. This does not mean that I would
give up. Every word and sentence you told me are in my memory. You said, ‘Never give up to understand something.’ I will never
forget. Today I did not understand something, but I know that I am smart. I do not want to just give up. I hope you understand me.
I never never never give up (Asla asla asla pes etmem).
Regards,
Gülcan
Never Give Up – Author Unknown
Sir Winston Churchill took three years getting through(geçmek) eighth grade because he had
trouble learning English. It seems ironic that years later, Oxford University asked him to
address(hitap etmek) its commencement exercises (Oxford Üniversite ondan nasıl başarılı olduğun
yolunu bir konfransda belirtmek/hitap etmek istedı).
He arrived with his usual props(Tipik kendinle duran şeylerla geldi). A cigar, a cane and a top hat
accompanied Churchill wherever he went. As Churchill approached the podium, the crowd rose in appreciative applause (toplum
kalkıp değerli bir şekilde alkışladılar). With unmatched dignity (Benzersiz saygınlıkla), he settled the crowd (millete sakınleşmeye
sağladı) and stood confident before (=in front of) his admirers. Removing the cigar and carefully placing the top hat on the podium,
Churchill gazed at his waiting audience (konfrans gibi konuşmasını bekleyen izleyiciların gözlerini dikip baktı). Authority rang in
Churchill’s voice as he shouted, ‘Never give up!’ (‘Asla Vazgeçmeyın’ diye bağırken, güç Churchill’in sesda izleyicilerin
kulakta çalındı!) [wow]
Several seconds passed before he rose to his toes and repeated: ‘Never give up!’ (Saniyeler bir şey söylemeden geçti ve o
fakat bunu bir daha söyledı: ‘Asla Vazgeçmeyın!’ His words thundered in their ears (Sesin izleyicilerin kulakta gürlendı). There
was a deafening silence as Churchill reached for his hat and cigar, steadied himself with his cane and left the platform. His
commencement address was finished (Başarıma sözün –bir cümleyi iki kez söyleyip- bitti)!! [‘BE DIFFERENT’ means this.]

teacher. We practice English once a week and sometimes we watch movie.
Best regards,
Nurten
[Nurten has won English because of her hard work and high character. She is a mom and she works too. She takes music lesson,
has ‘lady-friends monthly get-together’, and is a very sociable person. But do you know how she’s learned to read, write, listen, and
SPEAK English? She tells me that even when she’s washing the dishes, she has ‘the notes of the class’ next
to her and studies! Wow. The world must know how some amazing Turks learn English. When she
watches her favorite TV series, during advertisement she mutes the TV to at least learn a few words and
sentences! ‘BE DIFFERENT’ also means this. Thank you, Nurten! You’ve made it(Sen başarıdı)! Because
she reads a lot, anytime I ask her about a topic, she has stunning ideas about it so she speaks quality English.
The motivational speaker Graeme Clegg says, ‘Some people succeed because they are destined to, but most
people succeed because they are determined to (Bazı insanlar başarıyorlar çünkü onların kaderi öyle.
Fakat insanlardan çoğu başarıyorlar çünkü onların kararı öyle)!’ She can be a great role model of
determination for anyone who wants to learn English.]
I think I see you a little differently than you see yourselves (Sanırım ben, sizi sizin kendinizi gördüğünden daha farklı görüyorum).
Faith can move mountains; doubt can create them. (İnanç dağları hareket edebilir; süphe onları yaratabilir/çoğutebilir.) –
Howard Wight [İnanç, nasıl dağları hareket edeceğini söyleyeceğim.] 
 BEING IN TURKEY BUT LIVING IN AMERICA!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE??
I think living in America is the best ways to learn to speak English because everyone speaks English there and everything is in
English, TV, radio, books, shops, papers (newspapers), magazines, signs, etc. But not everybody has the chance to live there. One
may say, ‘I got a job, a family, and responsibilities here. I can’t go to the U.S. everyday and back. I might not afford it.’ But can we
be in Turkey but live in the U.S. everyday? ‘What?? But... how??’
Note: ALL languages of the world are beautiful, but I’m an absolute fan of American English. So every time I mention
‘English’ in this filebook, I mean ‘American English’ or ‘American’ language. Also every time I mention ‘I’, ‘Me’, ‘My’,
‘Myself’ or ‘Mine’ in sample sentences in chapter 2-3, I may or may not refer to ‘my own self’. It’s just about the language.
Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My Eye upon you.
You can practice shooting eight hours a day, but if your technique is wrong, then all you become is very good at shooting the
wrong way. Get the fundamentals down and the level of everything you do will rise.
–Michael Jordan [Thank you!] [Bu dosyakitabın en önemli öğrenme noktası.]
 WORKING THE WAY
If someone learns to play guitar the right way the first days, they can play guitar the right way for ever.
The way matters. I think everyone likes to be able to ‘speak’ English but how can they turn their
expectation into outcome, how can they turn the activity into accomplishment, how can they turn their
dream into reality? We have dreams and hopes. Orison Swett Marden says, ‘All men who have
achieved great things have been great dreamers.’ I was a dreamer too. I had expectations too. I had
activity and practice too. But thank goodness I found a new way. The American business philosopher,
Jim Rohn says, ‘Success is 20% skills and 80% strategy.’ [Strategy is the way, the same thing Michael Jordan and all successful
people believe in.]
When ‘People Magazine’ asked Julia Roberts on her SUCCESS, she said, ‘I’m just a girl from a little town in Georgia who had this giant,
absurd dream.’
Dream is not what you see in sleep. It is something that does not let you sleep. (Rüya uykuda gördüğün şey değil. Ancak –hep
onu düşündüğün dolayı- uykusuna izin vermeyen şeydir.) –A.P.J. Abdul Kalam the Indian scientist and ex-president
The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up(Rüyaların gerçekleştirmeye en iyi yol uyanmaktır). –Paul
Valery
You are never given a dream without also being given the power to make it true (Bir hayalın gerçekleştirme gücünüz yoksa,
o hayalda hic aklınızda gelmez). –Richard Bach, writer
Happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true (Mutluler, rüyalara rüya edip
onların gerçekleştirme pahasını vermeye hazır olanlardır). –Leon Joseph Cardinal Suenens
Jim Rohn, one of the most effective people I know, says, ‘Disgust is a negative feeling, but it has a very positive
effect.’ He says an impressive real story: One day, he met an accomplished, successful lady who was the vice-
president of a company. He asked, ‘How did you get here(Bu dereceye nasıl erdin)?’ She replied, ‘When I was a
young mother, I asked my husband for 10 dollars. He raised his voice and asked, ‘WHAT FOR??’ I’d never felt
so belittled, and before that day was over(o gün bitmeden), I truly decided I’d never ever ask again(artık kimseden
hiçbir şey istemeyeceğim)! I took classes, took opportunities, and here I am, making MILLION dollars! And
I’ve kept my promise(sözümü tuttum): ‘To this day, I’ve never ever asked again!’ The turning point of Jim Rohn’s life was the day
he didn’t have $2 to buy cookies? This made him take seminars and there, he met his mentor who changed his life. ‘Learn to work
hard on yourself more than you do on your job (İşiniz üzerinde yaptığın çalışmaktan daha fazla kendin üzerinde çalışmayı
öğrenın).’ [I ‘must’ learn from him everyday.] If anyone is unsuccessful with English speaking, they need to work on their way of
practicing it, and disgust their old way. Why being satisfied with 10 dollars of English grammar/reading/writing?? Why not
going for millions of dollars of speaking English??
Do the best you can, with what you have, where you are (Nerede olduğunuz ve ne sahip olduğunuzla en iyi yapabileceğinizi
yapın). –Theodore Roosevelt
Imagine there’s a flower and it’s so beautiful. I have two choices: I can BE WITH it or I can HAVE it. I’ve never wanted to
BE with English language, but I’ve always wanted to HAVE it, OWN it, FEEL it, BREATHE it, WALK with it, TALK with
it, DREAM it, CATCH it, LIVE it, but most importantly, LOVE it in my heart and mind and SOUL.
IF I WERE YOU, I’D REPEAT THESE TO MYSELF:
When it comes to speaking English, I just see winning, just hear winning, just know winning. I accept nothing else. I accept
nothing else. I JUST want to WIN. ENOUGH with the losing, enough. I’m angry at losing gold. I JUST see the GOLD. I
JUST want the GOLD. I’m a complete human and I deserve it. I’m reading this filebook JUST because I DO want
to WIN. I REALLY want to SPEAK English this time, I REALLY DO. [LORD! Please HELP me.]
Do not dwell on your losses, but concentrate (work hard) upon the part of your performance that limited your excellence
(Eski başarısızlıklerınde yaşamayın/bırakın onları artık, fakat şu an çok iyi olmanize limit eden performans parçasının
üzerınde konsantre olup sıkı bir şekilde çalışın). –Anonymous [It’s a life lesson(Bu bir yaşam felsefe).]
 WHAT DO SOME SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE DO?
If I see an ad(reklam) that says, ‘Speaking English in 3 months. Guarantee!’ I wouldn’t believe it. [The ONLY
One who can give you guarantee is GOD, and if GOD lives in you, His guarantee is the Most Trustworthy.]
Clint Eastwood in his movie The Rookie says, ‘If you want guarantee, buy a toaster (Garanti belgesi istersen,
bir tost makinesi satın al)!’ English is not an electronic device! I don’t think they’d pay my money back if I
didn’t learn English speaking in 3 months! I don’t say that’s impossible. EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE. But
supposedly I don’t know any English; if I go and live in London where everyone speaks British English,
according to the facts, it takes me almost 3 years to learn to speak English. [3 years x 365 days x 16 hours a day
awake= 17,520 hours, give or take(aşağı yukarıda) in London where everyone peaks English! It depends on me
too.] But how in the world (Tanrı aşkına) is that possible to learn English speaking in a non-English country in 3 months? If we
were to learn anything easily, we’d all be rich! Learning a language is not easy. In fact, learning is not easy. Is learning dancing
easy? [You probably remember how hard the 2002 Miss World Azra Akın practiced for Yok Böyle Dans.] Is learning swimming
easy? Is learning cooking easy? There’s no street named ‘Easy Street’! BUT if I practice anything the right ‘way’ and continue it
with ‘pleasure and fun’, I’d MAKE THEM EASY and enjoyable. English is the same. 
NOT EASY BUT WE ‘MAKE’ IT EASY...
Difficulty is the excuse history never accepts(Zorunluluk–zordur bırakim diye- tarihin kabul edilmez bahane). [Bravo!] –
Edward R. Murrow

  • 2. me. How amazing You are, how amazing Your plans are! I cry and lift You up with Hosanna in the highest! I want souls out there to know that they can be saved from their sins and be delivered when believing in Jesus! Lord, use me to be useful for others, to give this message to everyone out there, and use this song lyrics to touch the broken hearts! May God save my father’s soul in His embrace and bless my family! Amen. 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. Amin. • 3. Psalm 134:2 Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the LORD. Psalm 143:6 I stretch out my hands to You; my soul thirsts for You like a parched land. Selah. Lamentations 3:41 Let us lift up our hearts and hands to GOD in heaven. HALLELUJAH. We are from a father and a mother. Adam was made of earth but we are born from a father and a mother. Why do they say we are from the earth? ‘From earth to earth.’ The answer is: When we die, we become earth. From earth, grows wheats, we make bread, we eat, we live. From earth, grows fruits and vegetables; we eat, we live. Grasses come from the earth, cows eat grasses, we drink their milk, eat their meat, we live. From sheep, we get clothes, we live. From rocks on earth and trees, we make buildings, we live in. Fish live in the sea, the earth holds the sea, we eat the fish, we live. Birds fly in the sky, they live on the earth, we hunt and eat them, we live. From earth we live, to earth we die and become earth. ALL human beings are made of earth –except ONE. W h o i s J e s u s ’ f a t h e r ? Matthew 16:15-17 ‘But what about you?’ he asked. ‘Who do you say I am?’ Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’ Jesus replied, ‘Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.’ [Wooh! Hallelujah!] We are all born by a father and a mother, right? But who is Jesus’ father? We all know that according to the Scriptures, Jesus was born of Mary the Virgin. She did nothing to have a Son, but this was the will of God. And we know, according to the Holy BIBLE and our belief, that the ArcAngel Gabriel gave her the good news of being pregnant by the Holy Spirit of God. That is why in Christian belief, Jesus is the Son of God, the only person who is born from the Holy Spirit is JESUS. The only person from above is Jesus. The only person who is HOLY is Jesus because the Holy Spirit IS holy. Hallelujah. Now, ALL people... I repeat... ALL people are born of earth, but JESUS is the only One born of the Holy Spirit. Is He a human being or ABOVE all human beings? He is between GOD and ALL human beings. 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. [This is the Word of God to prophet Isaiah (İsiah İbrani) years before Jesus Christ’s coming:] Isaiah 7:14 ‘‘Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name ‘Immanuel’ which is translated, ‘God with us.’’ [WOW] Now we know that Jesus was born hundreds of years after Abraham and we know that a person born of the Holy Spirit is Holy, he NEVER lies, he IS the PURE TRUTH. As of John 8:58, Jesus Himself says, ‘Before Abraham was, I AM.’ WOW. He doesn’t say, ‘...I was.’ He says, ‘Before Abraham was, I AM.’ He IS ONE with God as He, in John 10:30 says, ‘I and the Father are one.’ And look what prophet Isaiah prophecies through the Holy Spirit years before: Isaiah 9:6-7 ‘‘For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of peace. Of the increase of His government and peace, there will be no end. Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.’’ There’re other prophecies such as: Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for Me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” 2 Samuel 7:12-13 says: When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. Or the prophecies of Zechariah 9:9 & 12:10, Psalm 22:16-18 by King David, Isaiah 50:6 and chapter 53, Jeremiah 31:10, Ezekiel 37:26-27, Daniel 9:24-27, and many more. [HOW MANY PROOFS???] Do Christians have 3 gods? NO. NEVER. HAYIR. ASLA. According to Christians, GOD IS ONE. (Hıristyanları göre, Rab BİR tanedir.) In all the Scripture, it is constantly mentioned that God is ONE. But if God wants to be in the form of human
  • 4. being, can’t He? If God wants to be in 100 or 1,000 different cities at one time, can’t He? Of course He can; He is the GOD, the Almighty GOD, the Able GOD. His POWER is beyond ALL people’s thoughts. HE is the LORD. As of Christian belief, GOD is ONE in three characters: The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. It’s like, I’m Michael for me, I’m a friend for my friends, and I’m a neighbor for my neighbors, but does it mean I’m 3 people??? NO. NEVER. It’s still the SAME me. I’m ONE person. Or it’s like I see the cars from the rooftop of a skyskraper, or from the seventh floor, or from the street. Does this mean that the SAME cars are bigger or smaller? NO. They are the SAME cars. Or it’s like my right hand does a job and my left hand does another job, but my right and left hands are in my body. So I say ‘I’ did the job. For one reference, take a better look at the above verses of Isaiah 9:6-7. And look what Jesus, the Man born of the HOLY SPIRIT who is HOLY HOLY HOLY and IS the TRUTH, says: John 10:30- 33 [Jesus said] ‘I and the Father are one.’ Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, ‘I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?’ ‘We are not stoning you for any good work,’ they replied, ‘but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.’ [I’ll give you more proofs!] Has the Bible been changed? 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God. (All Scripture is God-breathed.) Honestly, the ones who claim so, have NO IDEA of the POWER of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, the Maker of ALL things in the whole Universe. NO ONE can change the Holy Bible, for God can again and again bring it back to the SAME. Let me give you an example from the Holy Bible. When the Judah’s king, Jehoiakim burned a scroll of the Words of the LORD GOD, God said to Jeremiah 36:27-28&30-31, ‘Take another scroll and write on it all the Words that were on the first scroll...’ Therefore, about Jehoiakim, king of Judah, this is what the Lord says: ‘He will have no one to sit on the throne of David; his body will be thrown out and exposed to the heat by day and the frost by night. I will punish him and his children and his attendants for their wickedness...’ Who do we think God is? Can we imagine TORNADOS?? Woof! Scary! Can we imagine one of the space rocks is right above our head?? I’d die! Can we be face to face with a smoky bear? Horrifying!! There are many huge things our puny minds can’t take, just as how the creation of a grain of sand is! Even ONE POINT of the Holy Bible cannot be changed unless one doubts the AWESOME POWER of the HOLY LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. (Meğer biri, Her Şeyin Gucunu Yeten Kutsal Tanrı’nın harika gucu şüphelenirse, Kutsal Kitap’ta bir noktada bile değişemez.) Isn’t it enough miracle that ‘Fear not!’ is mentioned in the HOLY BIBLE 365 times, even 366 times, according to the days of a year? The purpose of the Holy Bible is for the sinful mankind to find SALVATION. The HOLY BIBLE is the POWEFUL Book of the HOLY LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. Matthew 24:35 + Mark 13:31 + Luke 21:33 [Jesus said] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My Words shall not pass away. Why four Gospels? Any contradictions? When something happens in the history, would we believe it more if it were told one time or four times? In modern history, when the president of a country does something, a lot of newspeople jump in and tell the news in different styles in their own perspectives through different channels. The Most High humbled Himself and came down on earth in the form of a human being. How MUCH more this is important? The Gospels(Dört İncil) were written by the Power of the Holy Spirit, the Most Reliable. [The Perfect Stranger] Nikki: Speaking of the Bible, what about all those contradictions? Jesus Christ: Like which ones? –I don’t know the specifics but... –Then I’ll give you one. One Gospel account says that I healed two blind men outside Jericho, another account says I healed one. (Matthew 20:29-34, Mark 10:46-52, and Luke 18:35-43.) –Well, there you go. –Tell me something. The other day at work, when you were telling Les that story about when you and Matt went to the movies, had the two of you gone alone that night? –No. Matt’s friend, Tim, was with us. –So, why did you leave that fact out? –Because he was irrelevant to the story I was telling. [She realizes that she already answered her question!] Why did Jesus come to earth? You came from Heaven to earth - To show the way - From the earth to the cross - My debt to pay - From the cross to the grave - From the grave to the sky - Lord I lift Your name on high –SonicFlood Do you really want to know? Well, the answer is because he LOVES us! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Isaiah 54:10 Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken, nor My covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you. 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. And also to SAVE us from our too many SINS! 1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. When you work somewhere, they PAY you. When you work SIN, the PAY is DEATH because God is Light
  • 5. and sin is darkness. SIN has no place in the presence of the LORD –as Adam and Eve sinned and were sent out of the garden of Eden –although the LORD is patient with our sins. God is Light, and no darkness (sin) is in His glory. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Let me explain. Blood of a lamb washes away sins. This is the Law of God. That is why they sacrifice (kurban etmek) a lamb. When God appeared in a dream to Abraham that he needed to sacrifice his son, at the point of sacrificing, God showed Abraham that he needed to sacrifice that lamb instead of his son. So they sacrifice a lamb for their sins to be washed away. In fact, it started from Adam and Eve’s sin, for after they sinned, they covered themselves with fig leaves, but they were not enough. God Himself covered them. Genesis 3:21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. But wait! Where did the garment come from, other than a lamb had to be killed? According to the Law, a sacrificed lamb’s blood washes away the sin. And they offer the burnt sacrifice to God. Now, God knew that the sins of the world had been too many, from burning one’s child, to murder, to adultery, to greed, and to lie. So many of the same people who sacrificed lambs, committed adultery and did other horrible sins. These hadn’t pleased God. 1 Samuel 15:22 But Samuel replied: "Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. So the Lord God decided to come to earth in the form of a Human Being to make a deal. (Rab, bir İnsan olarak, bir anlaşma yapmak için yer üzerinde gelmeye karar verdi.) He comes on earth, loves the loving, teaches the teaching, and being Holy, without having any sin, gives HIS BLOOD as once-for-ever sacrifice! But... Who can be saved? 1 John 2:1-2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an Advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. Wow to this God, wow. He’s so Amazing that without any sin is ready to carry the sins of the whole world on the cross, so that our sins would die on the cross. Let’s see what John the Apostle says: 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. Now, do you see one of the reasons why Jesus Christ has so many lovers all around the world? John 3:16-18 ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.’ Also John 5:24 [Jesus said] Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. Why did Jesus leave the earth? Well, that’s the new-believer’s question. Jesus in John 16:7 says, ‘Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don't go away, the Counselor won't come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.’ The Counselor is the Holy Spirit. Who is the Holy Spirit? At the end of Chapter 1 of this filebook, I’ll explain about it. Other names for the Holy Spirit (the Counselor) are the Comforter, the Advocate, the Helper, and the Redeemer. Jesus in John 14:16-17 says, ‘And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.’
  • 6. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. If I have all the money in the world but no PEACE in my mind, I have nothing. If I go on the best vacation but my heart doesn’t rest, I have nothing. PRAISE be to the GOD OF ALL COMFORT who gives us Heavenly PEACE. HALLELUJAH, YESHUA, HALLELUJAH JESUS. What is the proof of Jesus promises? Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [One of God’s promises.] We know a tree from its fruit. We know Jesus is the LORD when we ask HIM things and He answers. Actually when we accept JESUS CHRIST as our LORD and Savior, we hold on to His PROMISES, of which recieving the HOLY SPIRIT, the COMFORTER. When you promise someone, you give him something as a proof. What proof Jesus gives to His believers? 2 Corinthians 1:20-22 says, ‘For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.’ THIS is the God I know. THIS is the God who ANSWERS prayers. THIS is the God we LOVE, THIS is the God we WORSHIP, THIS is the God we ADORE and PRAISE. THIS is the God we LOVE. A ‘Christian’ and ‘pray’ are supposed to be inseparable. We need to pray and thank God in all circumstances. We have prayer sessions during the week. When we pray for a lot of people and we see that God ANSWERED the prayers, we, more and more and more, come to the increase of our belief and faith that THIS God is the TRUE, LIVING GOD, the GOD of gods, the HOLY GOD. If I didn’t see that He answered prayers, I would doubt, but THIS God is the FAITHFUL God. I thank You Lord in HOLY, PRECIOUS JESUS’ name. Amen. I dare everyone to ask something in belief in Jesus’ name. John 20:29 Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” [I dare you. = Size meydana okuyorum./ Hadi bakalım ne yapacaksınız./ Gücünüzü gösterin bakalım.] Jesus forgives sins. Who can forgive sins??? Luke 7:48 Then Jesus said to her, "Your sins are forgiven." John 8:11 [On the response to ‘if anyone thought he wasn’t a sinner to cast the first stone on her’] She said, ‘No man, Lord.’ And Jesus said unto her, ‘Neither do I condemn you. Go, and sin no more.’ A man who is born of earth may lie, the only man who is born of Heaven, NEVER lies. He IS Holy and the PURE TRUTH. John 14:6-7 Jesus said to him, “I’ am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” There is no higher TRUTH than Jesus Christ, the Lord. Jesus, by his own Almighty hands, has all the authorities on Heavens and Earth. He, according to the Holy Bible, forgives sins, heals all kinds of diseases, gives sight to the blind, gives hearing to the deaf, gives speaking to the dumb, heals the lepers, heals fever, casts all kinds of demons and heals the demon-possessed, gives life to the dead, wow; walks on water, calms the storm, gives food to 5,000 with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes, and to 4,000 with 7 loaves of bread and some small fishes; and does ALL kinds of miracles. WHO can do ALL these? You can read more of His miracles in the ‘Bible’ which means ‘Good News’.  Acts 4:12 “Nor is there salvation in any other (than JESUS), for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Jesus Christ is the LORD, the Way; the Truth; the Life; the Master; the Teacher; the High Priest; the Advocate; the Savior; the Fairest; the Root; the Shepherd; the Bread; the True Vine we abide in; the Water of Life we quench our thirst with; the Brightness of the Father’s glory; the Image of the living God; the Wisdom; the Righteousness; the Sanctification; the Redeemer, the Healer, the Friend, and the Brother. JESUS IS LOVE. Isaiah 53:4-9 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone
  • 7. astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. By oppression and judgment, he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. Hallelujah to the holy name of Love, Jesus Christ, the LORD of all, the King, the Redeemer, and the Savior. Just a few ‘more’ proofs that Jesus IS the Lord: John 1:1 In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 8:24 [Jesus said] “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I AM He, you will die in your sins.” John 14:9-11 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?” Acts 20:28 (God purchased us with His own blood.) Revelation 1:5-6 & Revelation 5:8-9 (Jesus' blood purchased us.) Revelation 1:8 - “I am the A (Greek:Alpha) and the Z (Greek:Omega), the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 22:13 - “I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”... 22:16 - “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches.” Isaiah 44:24 - (God created the world by His self alone.) John 1:3; Colossians 1:16 - (Jesus made all things.) Titus 2:13 - looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. LOVE YOU, KING JESUS. Why don’t miracles happen today? Jesus healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, gave hearing to the deaf, made the paralytic people whole, gave life to the dead and so and so. ‘Why don’t they happen today?’ Well, the question is ‘Are you SURE miracles don’t happen or you THINK they don’t happen?’ In WHOSE Name Mel Bond gave sight to a born-blind in 2000? In WHOSE Name Franklin Walden healed a born- lame, gave sight to a born-blind, and raised a dead? In WHOSE Name William M. Branham performed all those healing miracles? I can list here millions of names!! Why don’t I check Sid Roth’s TV program ‘It’s Supernatural’ to see in WHOSE Name those miracles are performed? One of the sisters in our church says his brother had so poor eyesight that couldn’t see one meter away and a pastor laid his hand on his eyes and after half an hour, he never needed any glasses anymore! In WHOSE name that pastor prayed? In WHOSE Name a brother in our church was prayed for and he has no more peptic(stomach) ulcer? The guy didn’t like English or any lessons. In WHOSE Name he was prayed for and turned to an English lover? In WHOSE Name the lady’s constant headaches were just gone? In WHOSE Name the little kid threw up for a couple of days but was instantly well and started jumping around? James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. I tell you. We pray in JESUS’ Name, the Name above all names, blessed be His name, the name of Lord Jesus. Psalm 100:1-5 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations. Hallelujah. Hyper Static Union – Free Me lyrics: I was afraid to let You in - Would I break Your heart again? - So many times before - I could not keep my promises - But You were dying to forgive - You gave Your life for me to live - And now I know it's time to find out - Who I am in Your eyes, in Your eyes - Come in my heart, come in my home - Come in, You're welcome at Your throne - Come in and take control - I know that I need You to rule my life - Free me from within - I am ready for my new life to begin - Take me from this place - Oh Lord I seek Your face, I seek Your face - I've been a fool I've been wrong - I've been alone for too long - I've been thinking that it's time I apologize - You've given life, You've given love - You've given all I can think of - You've given me the time to find out - Who I am in Your eyes - I'm falling in again - I don't remember when life was any better - I just need to be held, I'm feeling overwhelmed - Cuz life is so much better - This life is so much better - Free me from within - I am ready for my new life to begin - Take me from this place - Oh Lord I seek Your face - I seek Your face

Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and joy in His dwelling place. Maybe if we think more, we will see we hate many people without we notice! Do we know what hate does to our heart? It causes stress, anger, pain, hurt, disease, and many negative feelings. We clean the kitchens and throw the garbages away, wash the glasses to drink pure water, aren’t our hearts much more valuable than the kitchens? Don’t we need to throw out the ‘‘hate garbage’’ and wash it away to accept the clean water of Word? When Lionel Messi was 11, he was diagnosed that he could not grow in size properly. Medication wasn’t cheap and his parents couldn’t afford it. He served tea at a local shop to pay for his soccer training. At 13, he was as tall as an 8- year-old kid. His local clubs in Argentina knew he was very good but with his condition, didn’t want him. He didn’t grow much in size. There was no hope for him. He had two choices: Stop and forget the soccer for ever; or move forward. He DECIDED to move forward, focused on his potentials, and followed his passion. Only a BRAVE person does that. He worked hard to improve his skills, to prove himself. He was determined and optimistic. Finally, at age 16, FC Barcelona heard about his talent, yet they saw he is not highly talented and he had a condition too. But they also saw that he had a fighting HEART; he was DETERMINED TO BE THE BEST. And that was enough for them. They flew him and his family to Spain, gave them a place to live, and paid for his treatment to grow taller. He’s now one of the best soccer players in the world, won many cups and medals, earns millions of dollars every year, and is famous for his great CHARACTER. All of these happened because that day he DECIDED to become the person of his dreams. No matter who you are or how you look, you definitely CAN speak English. DECIDE. MOVE FORWARD. PROVE. Everytime, before you open it, you should ask yourself, ‘Am I in a good mood at this moment? Am I passionate and crazy enough to learn English in this very hour(tam bu saat’de)?’ If ‘not’, seriously, close the filebook, do something else to change your mood and then come back to read it. But if ‘yes’, then welcome to the ‘Google-like world of my thoughts (Google gibi düşünce dünyamı hoş geldiniz)’! [You know why Google is so successful? They’re DIFFERENT! In Google HQ (Merkez Bürosu), their meetings are not like sitting somewhere as we know. Instead, they play basketball, have FUN, and during that, come up with(find) some fresh, brand new ideas. This’s again, psychology! When you play, you’re in a good mood, so your mind works better. (Oyun yaparken, iyi bir ruhsal durumunde olup, kafanız daha iyi çalışıyor.) To learn English better, you should play, be in a good mood and have fun. (İngilizceyi daha iyi öğrenmek için, oyun yapmalı, iyi bir ruhsal durumunde olmalı ve daha eğlenmelısınız.) After the decision, comes the ‘way’. (Karar vermekten sonra İngilizce öğrenme yöntemı geliyor.)
  • 15. One evening I was sitting in a Starbucks in Istanbul, writing some of my thoughts on paper, throwing them away! I realized that’s not what my life’s supposed to be (Hayatım öyle olmamasını fark ettım). I needed to DO something! Having taught in Ankara, I bought a notebook to watch some movies and connect the Internet. At first, honestly, I had no idea that buying this notebook was going to be the idea of doing a book. But one evening, again, I incredibly found myself in the same chair, same floor, same Starbucks, and it reminded me of the same exact moment when I said to myself, ‘I needed to DO something!’ And there it was(Ve işte cevap oradaydı), the idea that struck me(aniden bu fikir aklıma geldi), ‘I can DO a book and not only guide some classes, but also guide MANY English lovers!’ So I openned a Microsoft Office Word and started this filebook with ONE word: ‘Love.’ It took me more than 4 years to write this filebook and gosh, it’s not easy as I imagined! I can write hundreds of pages of my ideas in English, but for doing a book, I needed to research, think over and over again, inspire, design, and edit the sentences many times as if(sanki) I was mapping out a way, then I got lost, then I got back, then I went again with constant conversion of multiple ideas in my head, more importantly, I needed to use a lot of techniques to write something worthy, trusting intelligent readers, then it became difficult! I found myself going to bed, eating, or walking in the street, a great idea tempted my mind, then I took note. It seemed I was two people, one ‘forgot’ himself, devoting and focusing on writing this filebook, another, had a daily basis life. Sometimes I wanted to be with friends, but I either had to be with them or with the filebook. I needed to learn Turkish too. As many new expressions come into English language, I needed to find their Turkish resources. After long hours of work, when I felt like quitting, some motivating videos and quotes awakened my mind like the Roman philosopher Seneca’s: ‘It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that they are difficult. (Yapmayı cesaret edemediğiz şeyler, zor olduğun için değildir; bunun sebebi bizim yapmayı cesaret edememektir).’ So much of the hardship on my way was paved when I realized other people had so much harder times than me. When Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) got a paralytic illness in 1921, he could retire himself and stay home. Instead, he made a brave move, chose the hard task, and became the President of the United States, not one, not two, but three terms in a row, from 1933 to 1945, during ‘a worldwide economic depression and total war’. With that situation, anyone could resign, but he ‘refused to accept his illness and achieved a personal victory’, put up his popular campaign song ‘Happy Days Are Here Again’, and led his country with ‘unfailing (yenmez) optimism and activism’. He created a national spirit which brought the unemployment rate from 24.9% in 1933 to 1.9% in 1945. ‘The only thing we have to fear is fear itself (Korkmamız gereken tek şey korkunun kendisidir =Hiçbir şeyden korkmamalıyız).’ This noble man couldn’t walk, but inspired a nation to move –me included! I owe him. Man! I sit here and access the world with a click but many others do the hard work and make outstanding websites like ‘Wikipedia’! The other evening, I practically(gerçekte) got freezed when I read its founder Jimmy Wales’ quote on a poster: ‘Some called it impossible; I called it Wikipedia!’ Wow ’cause it made me realize writing a filebook was way (çok) possible than making Wikipedia! [When YOU my friend learn English, YOU effect others too.] When a person teaches, they learn twice as well, so the truth is writing this filebook has changed my life. [How much more it will change YOUR life!] So I’m glad I did it. Despite the hardship, I wish you all had the same feeling of joy as I had when truly learning new things each and every day. Do what you can; can what you can’t. (Yapabileceğini yap; yapamayacağını mümkün et.) This filebook is not only for students but has suggestions for respectful teachers and is for parents, doctors, nurses, lawyers, engineers, psychologists, artists, managers, embassy staff, hotel staff, bankers, realtors, waiters, travelers, businesspeople, sportspeople, housewives, English lovers, even English haters, and anyone with any social status. Our fingerprints don’t fade away from the lives we’ve touched (Dokunduğumuz hayatlardan bıraktığımız etki yok olmaz). – From the movie: Remember Me (2010) They say, ‘If you love someone, set them free.’ I say, ‘Why setting them free? If you love someone, tell them about Movenglish!’  PEACE, Michael D!va P.S. Chapter 1 is hundred times more important than Chapter 2&3. Please read this filebook from the beginning to the end, not from the middle. (Not: Birinci bölüm, ikinci ve üçüncü bölümden yüz kat daha önemli. Lütfen bu kitabı ortadan değil, baştan sona kadar okuyun.) Impatience never commanded success(Sabırsızlık hiçbir zaman başarıya hakim olmadi).–Edwin H.Chapin
  • 16. A happy family is but an earlier heaven. (Mutlu bir aile erken cennetten başka bir şey değil.) –George Bernard Shaw During writing this filebook, I lost my father. ‘Dad! I love you for ever and always. You’re in my heart and soul. May you be blessed in heaven! Amen.’ With the wish to be blessed in righeousness, peace, joy, and love, this filebook is a humble dedication to my lovely mother with great thanks, my educated siblings, my dear sister-in-law and my nice niece. Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations. ‘A THING OR TWO’ FROM THIS FILEBOOK (Bu dosyakitaptan bir iki şey) >>>[Don’t look at the last page. What do you say? (Son sayfayı bakmayın. Ne dersiniz?) :D]<<< If you don’t move, nothing changes. (Hareket etmezsen, hiçbir şey değişmeyecek.) –Albert Einstein Tennessee is full of hills. To jog, the hills don’t come to me, I must get out of the bed and GO to them, I must make a MOVE. When I’m in bed, I think it’s hard, but when I just get to the door, I see it’s easier. Nothing happens unless I make a MOVE. There are rivers everywhere. To take fish, they don’t come to me, I must GO to them, I must grab them, I must make a MOVE. No boat? This filebook is a boat! The will(irade) and the discipline to MOVE matter. To learn to speak English, English doesn’t come to me, I must GO to it, I must make a MOVE –everyday. Even an empty bottle can effect a design positively. How much more English can effect your life positively!! To learn English, you should use your eyes and ears effectively. Students ask when they can speak English. The answer is whenever their mind is ready. Is it ready now? (Öğrenciler ne zaman İngilizce konuşabileceğini soruyorlar. Cevabı ne zaman onların düşünce hazır olduğundir. Şimdi hazır mı?) If today ONE of my students studies well, it effects me and I’ll be happy. If I’m happy, I teach other students better, so they’ll be happy and they’ll make others around happy too. I’ll speak better to my family, my neighbor, my friends, and people around me, as well as they speak better to people around them. See? A dominoe’s effect of happiness by ONE student of mine!! Now don’t you think if my neighbor who’s a complete stranger to you studies well, YOU will be happy too? Think about it. If our washing machine doesn’t work one day, we have it fixed. If not fixable, we throw it away
  • 17. and buy a new one. Why? Because we ‘naturally’ believe that a washing machine is responsible for cleaning our clothes, right? But how about human beings, the creators of all washing machines? Aren’t they responsible? I believe they are. If a baker says, ‘I don’t care,’ where should we find our daily bread? If a mechanic says, ‘I don’t care,’ who should fix our cars? If all people say, ‘We don’t care,’ life stops moving! But if an educated person says, ‘I don’t care,’ it could mean that they don’t care about their job either. ‘A bad hire flips the chance to the competitions (Kötü bir çalışan şansı rakiplarine verir/ Kötü bir eleman şansı yanındaki mağazaya verir).’ That’s why American businesspeople believe: ‘HIRE CHARACTER; TRAIN SKILL (İyi karakterlı çalışanları/elemanları işe al, onları becerek öğret).’ If there is ‘Kit Kat’ in this market, there is ‘Kit Kat’ in that market too. But if there is a responsible worker like ‘John’ in this market, there isn’t the same responsible ‘John’ in that market. So John brings a lot of customers to ‘this’ market. The American motivational speaker Earl Nightingale says, ‘Customer is your only boss.’ True because they pay for the clothes and bills! When your hands are full in a market, which one do you like, the responsible staff come and help you, or irresponsible staff don’t care about you? If we don’t take our job seriously, we should be sure someone else will (Biz işimizi ciddiye almazsa, başka biri ciddiye alacağını emin olmalıyız)! Today learning English is not an option anymore, it’s everyone’s responsibility. Do you agree? If you asked why America is in the ‘forefront’ of technology, the answer could be in their ‘education’. ‘I Am Responsible!’ is the very first lesson elementary students learn in the U.S. (Amerika’da ilkokul öğrencilerinin tam ilk öğrendiğin ders ‘İşimi sahip çıkıyorum/Sorumluyum’dur. There’s an American radio ad(reklam) that says, ‘Turn children’s every moment into learning moment.’ And learning moments are power moments, are winning moments. That’s why they create a ‘winning spirit’ in them as Jerome Holtzman says, ‘Losing is the great American sin.’ [=They must never sin/lose.= They must always win.] WOW. Responsibility is the price of freedom(Sorumluluk özgürlüğün fiyatıdır). –Elbert Hubbard It is not enough to clothe and feed the body of this Nation, and instruct and inform its mind. For there is also the SPIRIT. And of the three, the greatest is the SPIRIT. (Bu Milletin bedeni elbiseleştirmek ve beslemek ve onların fikrini öğretmek ve bildirmek yeterli değil. Çünkü onların RUHU de var. Ve bu üç şeyden en önemli RUHDUR.) [WOW]–Franklin D. Roosevelt Let us therefore animate and encourage each other (O zaman gelin birbirimize hareket ettirelim ve teşvik edelım). –George Washington In this era, wanting or not wanting to learn English speaking may not build our character, but it definitely ‘SHOWS’ our character. (Bu devirde İngilizce konuşma öğrenmeye istemek ya da istememek belki karakterimizi kurmayacak, fakat kesinlikle onu ‘GÖSTERECEK’.) How many students do you see in language school every weekend? MILLIONS, right? Bravo to ALL of them. But why can’t many of them SPEAK English? THEY are smart, but what is their learning WAY? If we don’t change our English learning WAY, our English speaking will be like this for ever. Is this a good news? (Öğrenme yöntemimizi değişmezsek, İngilizce konuşmamız hep böyle olacak. Bu iyi bir haber mi?) What most Turkish people need to learn English is not talking about Bangladeshi tigers or African giraffes detailed in some books, but it is to talk about real life situations. (Çoğu Türklerı İngilizce konuşma öğrenmeyı gereken bazı kitaplarda bulunan Bangladeşi kaplanler ya da Afrikali zürafalar değil, ancak gerçek yaşam durumlerden konuşmaktir.) ************************************************** There was a young theater player who wanted to become famous. He met a director who asked him to play a certain role as a test. The young actor went up the stage and acted that part one time. The director said, ‘No good. Do it again.’ So he did it again, and heard the same thing, ‘No good. Do it again.’ He acted that part for the third time and the fourth time and the fifth time and it went up to seventeenth time! Eventually, the young actor got angry and was about to leave the stage! Right there (Tam orada), the NEITHER POLITICAL, NOR RELIGIOUS, THE FILEBOOK STRIVES TO BE EDUCATIONAL. English speaking moves in mind right when the fear of English speaking moves out of mind (İngilizce konuşma korkusu fikirden kaçırınce, aniden İngilizce konuşma orada taşınır). What most people need to speak English is not knowledge, I repeat, is not knowledge, it is self-confidence. I worship You and praise You with all my heart, all my mind, all my soul, and all my strength. I confess that I am nothing without You and I always need You. Thank You for listening to my prayer and I ask You to bless the readers of this filebook according to Your will by pouring on them the Anointing of Peace and Truth, so that they may find the Truth. Your Word is the Truth. May You make Yourself known to them from the riches of Your Mercy and Grace, so that they may accept You and be saved. Thank You, Father, Son, Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name I prayed. Amen.  BOOK / CHAPTER 1: WARM-UP [GİRİŞ] Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all of your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. When reading this filebook, sit in a comfy couch, if not distracted, listen to some music to be in a good mood and help yourself with tea, coffee, or snacks. Please do it now. Enjoy(Afiyet olsun)! Create a good mood when learning English, then you’ll see English won’t be a lesson for you. [Special thanks to skyfm.com/christian, klove.com, thehousefm.com, and mypraisefm.com for I listened to them a lot during writing this filebook.] If I say I’m a teacher, it’s on the paper. Deep down in the heart, I’m always a student, the reason I use ‘I’ a lot in this filebook. I love fun and I am here to show you a way of it to learn English. Having a couple of years of overseas tutoring and teaching experience, I’m a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign* Language) teacher certified by Cavendish College of London. If you have always desired to SPEAK English, I believe you are reading the right filebook because it mostly focuses on speaking. I’ve gone this filebook’s way myself and there are students in some parts of the world who’ve gone the same way and have changed their lives. If we want to change our life, we should change your mind first. Also I’m granted the gift to encourage everyone. You’re not the first person I’m encouraging and won’t be the last. Right here in Turkey, there were students who said they didn’t even like English but after being in the class, became so interested in it that they wouldn’t want to leave it (the class) and confessed that they’re LOVING English! There’s just this thing(Konu şu): I think we really need a new perspective on what to do to LEARN to SPEAK ENGLISH. The old system of ‘book and blackboard/whiteboard’ is OVER(bitti artık). Just grammar, grammar, and grammar classes are OVER. Spiritless(Ruhsuz) English classes are OVER. ‘Sending text message in the class because of getting bored’ is OVER! ‘Teacher-centered classes(Sadece öğretmen konuştuğun sınıflar)’ are OVER! ‘Taking an English course just to pass an exam’ is OVER. Saying ‘I can’t speak English’ in the E-age (Elektronik devirde) is definitely OVER! Just like a revolution in technology, there must be a revolution in learning English (Tam teknolojide devrim gibi, İngilizce öğrenmeye bir devrim gerek/şart)! I believe we do. Look, guys! Books are great and read as many as YOU want... but just books to learn English SPEAKING? I tell you: Break that rule! Really, BREAK that rule! How? I’ll show! You don’t pay the price of success. You enjoy the price of success. James 1:8 A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. When reading THIS filebook to learn English ‘speaking’, I’d JUST listen to THIS filebook. ‘A person with ONE watch KNOWS what time it is; a person with two watches is never quite sure.’ When I come to crossroads, I wouldn’t go half this way, half that way, but I’d keep going ONE way. Movenglish will give you some proofs based on SCIENCE, FACTS, and WITNESSES that its way is the RIGHT way.  Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change. (Şeylerin gördüğün yolu değiş, bakacaksın ki gördüğün şeyler değişecek.) –Dr. Wayne Dyer It is the set of the sails, not the direction of the wind that determines which way we will go. (Gidecek yönümüzü belirten rüzgar değil ancak yeleğin düzeltmektir.) –Jim Rohn  FIRST OFF(HER ŞEYDEN ÖNCE), A QUICK NOTE ON ‘HOW TO READ’: As a student, if I read something in English loudly, my own voice wouldn’t let me understand what I was reading. And if I pause on every word to look it up in a dictionary, I’d only focus on words, not the whole idea of the text. In second-hand book market, there’re many English books with notes ‘only’ on the first pages, probably because the readers didn’t enjoy or understand what they were reading. So, what’s the best way to read? In 1800s, Francis Bacon suggested a great solution. The first time I read it, I liked it and have done it all my life. And whenever I show this solution to my students, they really surprise and enjoy what they’re reading. What is it? Well, whenever I read something, I’d first read all of it silently, without any stop to get the whole idea of the text. I’d not look up the meaning of any word in a dictionary for the first time. Even if I don’t know the meanings of some words, it wouldn’t matter, I wouldn’t stop, because at least I’d understand what the text is talking about and I’d enjoy my understanding. When I win to understand something, I feel good about myself. [The reason I should read it silently is because my own voice shouldn’t distract me.] Now that I know what it’s talking about, the second time, I’d stop on every new word to understand all the text.  On reading: When reading this filebook, I wouldn’t deal in details too much. I’d go for the key words, understand it as a whole and pass. After a while, I’d see I gradually understand more. The joy of reading is moving forward. Okumakla ilgili: Sizin yerinde olsaydım, bu dosyakitabı okurken, detaylara fazla uğraşmazdım. Anahtar kelimeleri alıp, genel anlamasını anlayıp, geçerdım. Tip1– In this filebook, whenever I see CAPITAL-LETTER(büyük harflı) words, bold(kalın) words, or underlined(altı çizili) words, in my mind, I’d read them LOUDER or with STRESS(vurgu ile). Also if I felt laughter, seriousness, anger, or surprise in any sentence, I’d feel the emotion and enjoy.  Tip2– Books like ‘Pride and Prejudice’, ‘Snow White and Seven Dwarfs’, and such are great, but their language might be old. • 22. 2. [An Email from America from my Turkish student] – 29.9.2009 [When she was in my class, she was majoring in English so she wanted to become an English teacher.] Hey, hocam! I am very, very faaaar away from my hometown… maybe you won’t believe it but I’m in AMERICAAA!!! LIVE FROM CHICAGO.... I got ‘h1’ visa for 1 year and I will be an ESL teacher. There is concept schools organization in here. I applied for the job and I got my approval. Now I’m in my class waiting for the students to come. This is my second day at school. I will observe this week and later I will be teaching. WOW. This is soooo exciting! I still can’t believe it. Thanks to you and the movies that we watched in the class, I can nearly understand ‘everything’ that people say in here. I believe that my speaking will also improve more. Anyway, now the bell is ringin and they are about to come. See ya hocam. :):) Betül [6 months in the class was enough for her and another student to take their Bachelor’s Degrees in English. This’s the real spirit of winning! ] [I couldn’t pronounce /ü/ in Turkish and they used to laugh at this!  It was nice to see them smile. ] 3. [An Email from Canada from my Turkish student] – 21.2.2010 Michael hocam selam umarım iyisinizdir. His wife has lived there and confirmed that the Canadians speak the same words and phrases of the notes. Keep rocking, Sedat!] 4. My Turkish student’s writing – 27.2.2010 [Impressive! Excellent! She only knew ‘hello’ and ‘how are you’ and the meaning of ‘cat’ and ‘dog’, but became one of the best students of the class! She used to take notes of everything I used to say! Once we had to change our classroom, but students didn’t want to, ’cause they had great memories in there like watching movies, having a birthday party, and learning English. So she couldn’t concentrate in the new classroom. She went home and wrote this brilliant piece of writing until 2 A.M. in the morning! What does ‘love’ mean? Well done, Gülcan! This is with-tiny-correction writing of her who was in my 7- hour-a-week class for only four months! She could speak English well too –at least she tried! This’s not just a small piece of writing for me, it’s a great lesson for all of us. Let us read it. ] Hello, I wanted to write something to you. I am determined; I am strong; and I am a very smart person. My life is always difficult to accomplish things. I continue my life consistently. And I never, never, never give up. I am a perfectionist, but sometimes impatient, so I was just angry at myself. I do not want to just give up. That is why I do not want to understand things wrongly. I am smart, successful and I trust myself. Sometimes I understand something a little late. This is not my fault. This does not mean that I would give up. Every word and sentence you told me are in my memory. You said, ‘Never give up to understand something.’ I will never forget. Today I did not understand something, but I know that I am smart. I do not want to just give up. I hope you understand me. I never never never give up (Asla asla asla pes etmem). Regards, Gülcan Never Give Up – Author Unknown Sir Winston Churchill took three years getting through(geçmek) eighth grade because he had trouble learning English. It seems ironic that years later, Oxford University asked him to address(hitap etmek) its commencement exercises (Oxford Üniversite ondan nasıl başarılı olduğun yolunu bir konfransda belirtmek/hitap etmek istedı). He arrived with his usual props(Tipik kendinle duran şeylerla geldi). A cigar, a cane and a top hat accompanied Churchill wherever he went. As Churchill approached the podium, the crowd rose in appreciative applause (toplum kalkıp değerli bir şekilde alkışladılar). With unmatched dignity (Benzersiz saygınlıkla), he settled the crowd (millete sakınleşmeye sağladı) and stood confident before (=in front of) his admirers. Removing the cigar and carefully placing the top hat on the podium, Churchill gazed at his waiting audience (konfrans gibi konuşmasını bekleyen izleyiciların gözlerini dikip baktı). Authority rang in Churchill’s voice as he shouted, ‘Never give up!’ (‘Asla Vazgeçmeyın’ diye bağırken, güç Churchill’in sesda izleyicilerin kulakta çalındı!) [wow] Several seconds passed before he rose to his toes and repeated: ‘Never give up!’ (Saniyeler bir şey söylemeden geçti ve o fakat bunu bir daha söyledı: ‘Asla Vazgeçmeyın!’ His words thundered in their ears (Sesin izleyicilerin kulakta gürlendı). There was a deafening silence as Churchill reached for his hat and cigar, steadied himself with his cane and left the platform. His commencement address was finished (Başarıma sözün –bir cümleyi iki kez söyleyip- bitti)!! [‘BE DIFFERENT’ means this.] 5. My Turkish student’s short writing – 14.3.2010 Hello!
  • 23. I did not take English course before. This is my first time. First day of the course, I was afraid. Because other students knew some English, but I could not speak it at all. I have taken English course for 5 months. I can speak English now because of Michael teacher. We practice English once a week and sometimes we watch movie. Best regards, Nurten [Nurten has won English because of her hard work and high character. She is a mom and she works too. She takes music lesson, has ‘lady-friends monthly get-together’, and is a very sociable person. But do you know how she’s learned to read, write, listen, and SPEAK English? She tells me that even when she’s washing the dishes, she has ‘the notes of the class’ next to her and studies! Wow. The world must know how some amazing Turks learn English. When she watches her favorite TV series, during advertisement she mutes the TV to at least learn a few words and sentences! ‘BE DIFFERENT’ also means this. Thank you, Nurten! You’ve made it(Sen başarıdı)! Because she reads a lot, anytime I ask her about a topic, she has stunning ideas about it so she speaks quality English. The motivational speaker Graeme Clegg says, ‘Some people succeed because they are destined to, but most people succeed because they are determined to (Bazı insanlar başarıyorlar çünkü onların kaderi öyle. Fakat insanlardan çoğu başarıyorlar çünkü onların kararı öyle)!’ She can be a great role model of determination for anyone who wants to learn English.] I think I see you a little differently than you see yourselves (Sanırım ben, sizi sizin kendinizi gördüğünden daha farklı görüyorum). Faith can move mountains; doubt can create them. (İnanç dağları hareket edebilir; süphe onları yaratabilir/çoğutebilir.) – Howard Wight [İnanç, nasıl dağları hareket edeceğini söyleyeceğim.]   BEING IN TURKEY BUT LIVING IN AMERICA!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?? I think living in America is the best ways to learn to speak English because everyone speaks English there and everything is in English, TV, radio, books, shops, papers (newspapers), magazines, signs, etc. But not everybody has the chance to live there. One may say, ‘I got a job, a family, and responsibilities here. I can’t go to the U.S. everyday and back. I might not afford it.’ But can we be in Turkey but live in the U.S. everyday? ‘What?? But... how??’ Note: ALL languages of the world are beautiful, but I’m an absolute fan of American English. So every time I mention ‘English’ in this filebook, I mean ‘American English’ or ‘American’ language. Also every time I mention ‘I’, ‘Me’, ‘My’, ‘Myself’ or ‘Mine’ in sample sentences in chapter 2-3, I may or may not refer to ‘my own self’. It’s just about the language. Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My Eye upon you. You can practice shooting eight hours a day, but if your technique is wrong, then all you become is very good at shooting the wrong way. Get the fundamentals down and the level of everything you do will rise. –Michael Jordan [Thank you!] [Bu dosyakitabın en önemli öğrenme noktası.]  WORKING THE WAY If someone learns to play guitar the right way the first days, they can play guitar the right way for ever. The way matters. I think everyone likes to be able to ‘speak’ English but how can they turn their expectation into outcome, how can they turn the activity into accomplishment, how can they turn their dream into reality? We have dreams and hopes. Orison Swett Marden says, ‘All men who have achieved great things have been great dreamers.’ I was a dreamer too. I had expectations too. I had activity and practice too. But thank goodness I found a new way. The American business philosopher, Jim Rohn says, ‘Success is 20% skills and 80% strategy.’ [Strategy is the way, the same thing Michael Jordan and all successful people believe in.]
  • 24. When ‘People Magazine’ asked Julia Roberts on her SUCCESS, she said, ‘I’m just a girl from a little town in Georgia who had this giant, absurd dream.’ Dream is not what you see in sleep. It is something that does not let you sleep. (Rüya uykuda gördüğün şey değil. Ancak –hep onu düşündüğün dolayı- uykusuna izin vermeyen şeydir.) –A.P.J. Abdul Kalam the Indian scientist and ex-president The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up(Rüyaların gerçekleştirmeye en iyi yol uyanmaktır). –Paul Valery You are never given a dream without also being given the power to make it true (Bir hayalın gerçekleştirme gücünüz yoksa, o hayalda hic aklınızda gelmez). –Richard Bach, writer Happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true (Mutluler, rüyalara rüya edip onların gerçekleştirme pahasını vermeye hazır olanlardır). –Leon Joseph Cardinal Suenens Jim Rohn, one of the most effective people I know, says, ‘Disgust is a negative feeling, but it has a very positive effect.’ He says an impressive real story: One day, he met an accomplished, successful lady who was the vice- president of a company. He asked, ‘How did you get here(Bu dereceye nasıl erdin)?’ She replied, ‘When I was a young mother, I asked my husband for 10 dollars. He raised his voice and asked, ‘WHAT FOR??’ I’d never felt so belittled, and before that day was over(o gün bitmeden), I truly decided I’d never ever ask again(artık kimseden hiçbir şey istemeyeceğim)! I took classes, took opportunities, and here I am, making MILLION dollars! And I’ve kept my promise(sözümü tuttum): ‘To this day, I’ve never ever asked again!’ The turning point of Jim Rohn’s life was the day he didn’t have $2 to buy cookies? This made him take seminars and there, he met his mentor who changed his life. ‘Learn to work hard on yourself more than you do on your job (İşiniz üzerinde yaptığın çalışmaktan daha fazla kendin üzerinde çalışmayı öğrenın).’ [I ‘must’ learn from him everyday.] If anyone is unsuccessful with English speaking, they need to work on their way of practicing it, and disgust their old way. Why being satisfied with 10 dollars of English grammar/reading/writing?? Why not going for millions of dollars of speaking English?? Do the best you can, with what you have, where you are (Nerede olduğunuz ve ne sahip olduğunuzla en iyi yapabileceğinizi yapın). –Theodore Roosevelt Imagine there’s a flower and it’s so beautiful. I have two choices: I can BE WITH it or I can HAVE it. I’ve never wanted to BE with English language, but I’ve always wanted to HAVE it, OWN it, FEEL it, BREATHE it, WALK with it, TALK with it, DREAM it, CATCH it, LIVE it, but most importantly, LOVE it in my heart and mind and SOUL. IF I WERE YOU, I’D REPEAT THESE TO MYSELF: When it comes to speaking English, I just see winning, just hear winning, just know winning. I accept nothing else. I accept nothing else. I JUST want to WIN. ENOUGH with the losing, enough. I’m angry at losing gold. I JUST see the GOLD. I JUST want the GOLD. I’m a complete human and I deserve it. I’m reading this filebook JUST because I DO want to WIN. I REALLY want to SPEAK English this time, I REALLY DO. [LORD! Please HELP me.] Do not dwell on your losses, but concentrate (work hard) upon the part of your performance that limited your excellence (Eski başarısızlıklerınde yaşamayın/bırakın onları artık, fakat şu an çok iyi olmanize limit eden performans parçasının üzerınde konsantre olup sıkı bir şekilde çalışın). –Anonymous [It’s a life lesson(Bu bir yaşam felsefe).]  WHAT DO SOME SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE DO? If I see an ad(reklam) that says, ‘Speaking English in 3 months. Guarantee!’ I wouldn’t believe it. [The ONLY One who can give you guarantee is GOD, and if GOD lives in you, His guarantee is the Most Trustworthy.] Clint Eastwood in his movie The Rookie says, ‘If you want guarantee, buy a toaster (Garanti belgesi istersen, bir tost makinesi satın al)!’ English is not an electronic device! I don’t think they’d pay my money back if I didn’t learn English speaking in 3 months! I don’t say that’s impossible. EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE. But supposedly I don’t know any English; if I go and live in London where everyone speaks British English, according to the facts, it takes me almost 3 years to learn to speak English. [3 years x 365 days x 16 hours a day awake= 17,520 hours, give or take(aşağı yukarıda) in London where everyone peaks English! It depends on me too.] But how in the world (Tanrı aşkına) is that possible to learn English speaking in a non-English country in 3 months? If we were to learn anything easily, we’d all be rich! Learning a language is not easy. In fact, learning is not easy. Is learning dancing easy? [You probably remember how hard the 2002 Miss World Azra Akın practiced for Yok Böyle Dans.] Is learning swimming easy? Is learning cooking easy? There’s no street named ‘Easy Street’! BUT if I practice anything the right ‘way’ and continue it with ‘pleasure and fun’, I’d MAKE THEM EASY and enjoyable. English is the same.  NOT EASY BUT WE ‘MAKE’ IT EASY... Difficulty is the excuse history never accepts(Zorunluluk–zordur bırakim diye- tarihin kabul edilmez bahane). [Bravo!] – Edward R. Murrow
