6. what have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product
1.
2. Using one of the schools video cameras to shoot my opening
scenes, I have learnt a variety of camera shots that I didn’t know
before and ways to use the camera to my best capabilities.
Extreme close ups, mid shots and over the shoulder shots have all
become something I can set up and film with ease now. Extreme
close-ups would be used to emphasise a facial expression up
close, such as a twitch of the eye or a shocked expression. I
would use a mid-shot if I was trying to convey a reaction that
needed both facial and body language to express the emotion.
An over the shoulder shot makes it more realistic for the
audience, as the audience can see what the person is seeing from
over the shoulder (like you are looking over the person’s
shoulder).
My group and I used different angles of shots in my opening, with
close ups to see a person’s reaction or to see an object up close.
Also, we learnt how to use editing software like Adobe Premiere
Elements 10 to edit clips and put our video clips all together, so it
flows through.
