The workbook design of SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, Edition for Microsoft Office allows for an
improved summary of BW components in a workbook in Excel as well as adding of Excel-based
charts. Its other benefits are the intuitive insertion of multiple data sources and the free
formatting of cells with data.
The easy consummation of workbooks is expressed in adding data on the filter’s status, the
data sources (last update, name, etc) and the integration of the filter dialog. The new API for
the formulas is easy to use by developers right into the worksheet and the sharing of
workbooks and PowerPoints adds an ability to save these in the BusinessObjects Enterprise.
SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, Edition for MS Office also makes it very easy to build
applications. You will need to have Microsoft Office installed. Note that the PowerPoint Add-In
supports only MS Office 2007 and above. You will also need SAP NetWeaver BW 7.0 or higher.
That way you will have direct access to SAP NetWeaver BW InfoProvider and the query views.

data models.
