2. Once upon a time, a wood cutter went looking
for a job.
He was highly skilled immediately got a job with
one of the biggest timber merchant.
He was really good & so were the working
conditions.
He was determined to do his best.
1st day he was able to chop 15 Trees.
“Great Job done” the boss said. “Carry on with
your good work”.
3. Highly motivated he tried harder the next day,
but he only could bring down 10 trees.
3rd day he tried even harder, but was only able
to bring down 7 trees.
Day after day he was bringing lesser number of
trees down.
Wood cutter thought “I am losing my
strength”.
4. With this thought of guilt & pressure, he went to
the boss & apologized.
Boss listened to him carefully & asked him a
simple question.
“When was the last time you sharpened your
Axe?”
Sharpen? I had no time to sharpen my axe. I
have been very busy trying to cut trees…”
5. Moral of the above story
His Axe had blunted & lost its edge & it was time
for him to sharpen his axe.
