Salvation is a work of God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned or deserved, but is offered freely to all through the gospel. The gospel reveals a righteousness from God and proclaims that though people are more sinful than they dare imagine, they are also more loved than they dare dream. The righteousness of salvation is by faith alone, from beginning to end, and transforms all areas of life so that the righteous will live by faith.

4. Salvation is entirely a work of God's grace and
cannot be earned or deserved. It has been
accomplished by the Lord Jesus Christ and is
offered to all in the gospel. God in his love
forgives sinners whom he calls, granting them
repentance and faith. All who believe in Christ
are justified by faith alone, adopted into the
family of God and receive eternal life.
