The internet can be used to do homework.
You can play educational games on the internet.
Lastly you can do tons of research about a person by
using the internet.
3. Things NOT to do on the
internet!!!(Don'ts)
Never give out your full name or address because people
could try to find you.
Don’t go on chat sites and talk to random people that you
do not know.
Do not give your phone number to a random person.
Don’t go on sites that could give your computer a bad
virus.
Lastly If you are on a chat site don’t accept friend request
from strangers.
4. How to protect your computer
privacy.
One way is you can download programs that scan your
computer.
Another way is you can make sure your internet has a
lock code.
Don’t go on certain sites that can cause people to hack
into your computer.
Watch who goes on you computer.
Be very careful when you use your computer.
5. If you feel threatened while using
the computer here's what you do.
Tell a parent what is happening.
Notify the police with urgency.
Tell a teacher or principle.
Get off the computer and find an older sibling.
Turn OFF the computer!!!
6. Computer Use Policy
Students should not try to access any program not
assigned by the teacher.
Students must not install or download anything if not
told to.
Students must not have a program that can modify or
destroy another computer program.
8. Fair Use Policy
Allows use-copyright of something without permission
from the rightful owner.
EX: I write an article and someone else uses it without
my permission its fair use policy.
9. PLAGIARISM!!!
Stealing someone’s work or copying it and saying its
yours would be considered PLAGIARISM.
EX: If my friend wrote something and I copied it and
said it was mine.
