2. Think About It
How would you feel if
you were Helen
Keller? Blind and deaf.
3. Helen Keller most likely didn’t
remember not being blind or deaf
because she was 8 months old
when she was diagnosed with brain
fever. From then, the sickness
became very strong, and she then
became blind and deaf.
12. • Ok, good, you listened, but you don’t know
what it’s for.
13. Hey, Jonah come up here!
Ok Jonah, you are going to be Helen Keller, or at
least you’re going to act like Helen Keller. I’m
going to give you headphones, and eye
covers, and you have to find your way around
the room, not being able to see or hear ( not
hear as much, you still might be able to hear).
14. Here’s How It Works:
• First, you’re going to put on the headphones
and the blind fold on
• Next, I am going to spin you around
• Then, you are going to make your way to the
couch and find your doll
• Lastly, you’re going to make your way back for
dinner (when you hear the dinner bell)
