• individual 30 years of age or younger
• 5 or less years professional experience
• has made outstanding contributions to
the meetings and events industry
• not limited to MPI members
6. Meeting Industry Leadership
• honors rare individuals who by visionary hard
work and creative insight have positively
changed the global meetings and events
industry community
• recognizes sustained commitment and
substantial contributions to the global meeting
and events industry
• elevates the accomplishments of these
individuals and inspires others to learn from their
example
• not limited to MPI members
7. MPI Member of the Year
• honors an exceptional MPI member who
through their volunteer efforts has made
outstanding grassroots contributions and
demonstrated unparalleled commitment to
the advancement of a chapter, club,
community or region

• recognizes MPI chapters and other
communities for demonstrated
achievement in marketplace excellence
and providing business opportunities for

• recognizes the exceptional achievement
and accomplishments of chapters and
other communities within two years of
