  Strategy for Tourism”, the project funded by the
  European Union in the amount of EUR 1 million

• In order to achieve the implementation of the
  Revision, it is essential to focus on sustainability
  of tourism development

• Specific new tools concerning both private and
  public involvement in tourism development have
  to be implemented and these include:

  The establishment of “Observatory of Tourism”
  to address the needs of investors and
  professionals

  Training Programs to support SMEs
  sustainability

• Danube Strategy – EU strategy for the Danube region

• Hotel opened on 25th December 2011

• First greenfield investment in domestic tourism in 20 years

• The state invested 30 million EUR

• Austrian Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences took over the hotel management in
  September 2011

• Management duration period: 15 years

   IPA funds in amonut of 6.5 million
   euros

Old Mountain) • Hotel opened on 25th December 2011 • First greenfield investment in domestic tourism in 20 years • The state invested 30 million EUR • Austrian Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences took over the hotel management in September 2011 • Management duration period: 15 years 7
