- It’s Flexible: FlexPodalso can flex based on workload. FlexPod traditionally has been intended to be a shared infrastructure platform that allows resources to be scaled while maintaining the same design and implementations.The FlexPod sizing guide provided details on how to optimally support different uses. For instance, an entry level configuration is good for Microsoft applications such as Exchange or SharePoint. Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) workloads such as VMware View require a configuration with more compute and higher IOPS. Devand test environments need more computing and memory resources but less data storage than others. Whereas data protection and backup use requires the maximum storage capacity while still maintaining optimal I/O performance across the backup infrastructure.Flexible in terms of scale: FlexPod architecture scales to support most enterprise environments.FlexPod reference architectures can be sized for small enterprises or very larger enterprises. The architecture is consistent from small to large with the same capabilities, technology and management tools. A company can scale a small environment to a very large environment without ever forklifting technology, changing management tools or methodologies. In addition with ACI, end to end application infrastructure provisioning can be performed across the compute level (UCS), the network (Nexus 9k network) and storage (CDOT). This solution provide manual configuration of FlexPod ACI.

By partnering with De LageLanden (DLL), a worldwide leader in asset-based leasing, customers can expect velocity, simplicity and flexibility in financing their FlexPod® investments.Unified financing provides one stop shopping for the entire FlexPod solution. Customers will be able to finance NetApp® and Cisco® technology as well as services, support, education and other third-party vendor and partner-provided products. By consolidating the entire investment into a single transaction, the acquisition will be easier for the customer to transact.Unified FlexPod Financing program offers best rates for customers. All three partners are motivated to help customers finance sales that should result in lower payments.Partners will be paid a 1% rebate on 100% of the financed amount.The program specializes in small ticket financing (under $250K) with an efficient back-office process. Partners can expect proposals and credit checks the same day in most cases or within 24 hours.There is no limit to the size of a FlexPod transaction that can be financed under the Unified FlexPod Financing program, including proposals far in excess of $250,000.Partners can offer their customers a “90 Day No Payment, No Interest” promotion as part of this new program.
