1) State Hydraulic Works (DSI) is a Turkish government agency responsible for water resource management including irrigation, hydroelectric power, water supply, and flood control. 2) DSI uses GIS data and software from ESRI including ArcGIS Server to develop internal web applications and publish geospatial services. 3) DSI is working to develop external "mashup" applications by combining ArcGIS Server services with other web APIs like Google Maps to allow broader public access to geospatial data and analysis while addressing security issues.
